With the whole stats or data being carried over from games to their sequels or related games, when the idea of it being common in other genres besides RPG's and Gears was mentioned..didn't EPIC sort of do it already with the Gears 1 achievements unlocking MP characters in Gears2?

Concerning the importing save game data, many might remember that Ratchet and Clank 2 and 3 gave you the option to get old weapons from the previous game if you had a save of it on your memory card. I always thought it was great and expect nothing less of ME1

I'm going to have to disagree with you Adam. While I agree with most of what you say I prefer it when a game has a character customization for them to put that up front. If a game starts me with a generic character and then after I get into the action and figure out the control scheme it interrupts me and says you can't have that character any more; let's take half an hour, totally pull you out of the game, and then throw you back into the game without much changing; it kind of takes me out of the game. Unless the game finds some interesting way to do it (you start as a character in a video game then run out of quarters and find out your character somehow has to do the same things) I would like to create my character and use him the entire time.

Love the show, but I felt like I was watching cloverfield. The shaky-cam is crazy! Zoom pan, zoom in more, NO WAIT zoom out! PAN! ZOOM!

But seriously, I really did enjoy watching/listening to this. I'll be tuning in more.

The old 'sex, violence, and video games' debate. I'm glad to hear that both the 'dude and non-dude' panel share similar opinions, and that the cultural aspect was brought in. The Japanese culture is, as everyone's seen, a little different than our own. Not better or worse, just, different.

As for Mass Effect 2, the character evolution is awesome. To have worked so hard on the first game's character, and be able to bring that hard work through to the sequel, and eventually, the last of the trilogy, is a great sales point for me. We'll see how many other games embrace this idea, and use it as well. I also see the ability for the companies to beat this idea into the ground if not used well.

I actually really liked RE5 and I'm looking forward to the DLC. But I'm not gonne use the Wand to play it. It just looks totally stupid useing half of the dualshock to stear and the wand to aim.

This has become my favorite show on G4. AOTS is great.....but in my opinion X-play has not had the same draw for me that the show used to have back in the day. I see less and less of what made X-play great to me in the first place. Feedback has given faces to the people that create the content for G4, and the content that these people are in charge of is largely the reason I keep on tuning in. The Feedback formula is perfect for me and I feel Like G4 has made a good decision backing it. Klepek is the shiz, Abbie knows her stuff, and Adam gets to be a host to an "actual" discussion about games. I must say that you need to keep up the good work because this is the essence of G4, I know that you can't make them all happy in "Free" Media. But you guys sure as hell have made something that I look forward to every week!!!!!

On the youtube subject...yea I'd like to see it in more games. My reasons for putting god of war and well white knight chronicles is well...some people would maybe like to make walk through videos like say in white knight chronicles georama mode. I personally would use it in shooters...in online multiplayer as abbie said...getting a headshot on a psn buddy of mine then uploading it. This can also be used to find easter eggs or other things lying around...maybe it can help someone get a certain trophy

I loved the No More Heroes 2 discussion. I'm currently almost done playing the game and loving it. I did find it funny how much everyone focused on the gratuitous sexuality. A thong and bra showing upsets you yet you don't mind cutting off the heads of hundreds of people? There was no mention of the violence being offensive. Abbie, I totally understand if the blatant sexist stuff gets to you- I mean it kind of should! But it's interesting how NOBODY mentioned the violence in this game.

In regards to the discussion about being charged for the Cerberus network:
Oftentimes, my brother and I swap out and take turns with various games. Because ME2 is coming out one week prior to Bioshock2, we agreed that we would each buy one of the two games, and swap out after finishing said game. The problem is the we cannot both use the Cerberus network download code. The fact that only ONE download per console (or user/gamertag) is what really pisses me off.

If these codes are going to become a new standard thing, then these companies should do the same thing that companies do when they release computer software: allow the code to be used on more than one system. They should at least allow for two or three users to use the code. It is perfectly fair.

These greedy tricks are absurd. It's enough to make me seriously question supporting the company, if their game(s) are anything less than stellar.

i just couldnt get into titans quest for some reason..its a good interesting game just for some reason i couldnt like it enough to care about it..i did beat it a few times with my friends though..

one thing i though the character creator was really lacking..didnt give you many choices at all..

I can see inFAMOUS 2 (when ever it comes out) doing something like what Mass Effect 2 Did, where if you chose to be evil Cole in the first game, you can continue down the path of being a d-bag or you can continue down your path of righteousness, or if you did both in the first game you can choose which path you wanna take for the sequal and then take the opposite choice when you go for a second playthrough. As long as it's done right I see that happening for inFAMOUS. The morality system was pretty deep and I think they wanna tap further into it for the second one.

thanks sess for defusing that dude no dude situation... abbie was ticking me off on how she was arguing about No More Heroes 2... she totally defended her stand and was turning everyone against it...except that one dude who reviewed it (sterling deserves props)...i didnt get bayonetta cuz of the sexuality of it and i wasnt into a single player mood...maybe im not into the dominatrix goth thing...but i loved the insanity of NMH...i wish my mom hadnt givin my wii to my cuzins cuz i would totally get this game...umm...like i know sum1 prob said already that its a big culture thing and its very evident in the anime and games...so yeah i know abbie said she liked the first one and this one is over the top or crosses the line(which one means bad)...but maybe its a feminist thing like bayonetta is the protagonist so she gets a thumbs up and in NMH2 the chick is just a piece of eye candy...but i guess they are two different games and shouldnt really be compared...they're for two dif systems and different ways of p[laying but theyre both hack and slash too...ah man im going in circles...ohh yeah i wanted to throw in sometin bout viewtiful joe...cuz it also has sometin to do bout showing a cultural barrier....more like a dif set of ideas that you wouldnt see in american games....wait wat...but abbie still kewl...she brings the womens view point...not all gamers are dudes...sess dont count......jk jk...i kid cuz i luv...
