Those helmets are strange, but nothing to really complain about. This game looks epic as all hell and I love the Mexican raiders! They were kinda cheesy, but hilarious. And the transforming mechs into jets? Looks sick as HELL. I had no idea that game would be so intense. I'll definitely be keeping my out for this one.

This looks pretty cool I might pick it up sometime during it's release month. Japanese games storylines are ridiculous because Japanese culture is insane.

This represents everything that is awesome about Japanese sci-fi. So over-the-top and big that the story doesn't really matter--it just needs to be enough to connect the hectic, huge, imaginative, and way-out-of-left-@#$#-field set pieces and characters. When it's done right, it's awesome.

Looks like it will be a lot of fun to play. Definitely day-one.

why are japanese games storylines so ridiculous?

They assume you know the whole story and just jump around places with little explaination and no attempt to address holes in their story, or why someone has the most ridiculous outfit on.

And Vital Suits that transform into an aircraft!! OMG!!!

And NEVEC is still around, I see.

They should just do what the C.O.G. did to the Locust, and shove a Thermal Energy Bomb down where the Category-G Akrids were hibernating (a la Lightmass Bomb).
Or just use their satellite laser (Hammer of Dawn) to kill the Akrids.

Hopefully the controls are improved, they were bad on the 360 and beyond horrible on the PS3.

all the characters seem to have weird helmets.... oh, and it looked a bit like a post apocalyptic game for a bit there... another thing though, why would capcom be putting out trailers for anything but bosses.... we have already played the game...
