ARRRGGHHHHHH!!! I WANT IT!!! *Snaps laptop in half* Lucky thing I have another one. I think this game is by far my most anticpated game of ALL time. I declare January 26th Mass Effect Day! CELEBRATE IT... NOW!!! I completely agree with you, Adam. Here is my opinion on the matter. Bethesda and Bioware are game companies consisiting if gaming gods which only means you can visit a god like world. (What if bethesda and bioware teamed up?... Biothesda... HECK YEAH!!!) Have fun you lucky people who are playing ME2!

I picked the game up this morning. It has SIGNIFICANT improvements over the first, and i agree that the one issue with this is that i don't want to replay the first in order to create a new character. Oh well. Thank you Bioware!!!

Still haven't got my mitts on the game. Can't... wait...

Adam, you made some comparison with ME2 to Uncharted 2. Do you think that ME2 is better single-player game than U2?

Really good soapbox Adam. I've already been hyped for the game for about 2 years now because I loved the first one so much. But it's kinda funny, eventhough I've been looking forward to it so much I haven't really been..... I can't find the word so I'll just say Happy. After watching the soapbox I feel not just excitement but happiness that in less then 40 hours I will get to play the game, that will probably knock of Mass Effect 1 as my favorit game of all time (yes it had flaws, I didn't say greatest game) . I actually feel like a little girl hopeing she will get a pony for christmas.

I wonder if Sessler romanced anyone in the game. I prefered Tali

Im not sure I understand what you mean by the differences in the Bethesda and Bioware RPG types. Other than Bioware using squad members and Bethesda making it a very single person experience every other gameplay mechanic seems to be the same to me.
Having not played the game yet I don't know if your remarks on the mining truly represent the game or not, but I will assume that they are. It seems, bringing things back to Bethesda and Bioware, that in Fallout 3 and Oblivion they had to implement a lock-picking system that was annoying but required to slow progression somehow. I think that sandbox games need to come up with a better way to dole out what the players resources are without using annoyances to make people put in effort to gain rewards. I think the best solution would be to make the player spend time when doing these things, like in Zelda: Phantom Hourglass when you used your claw to get treasure in the ocean, to not make these things un-fun, but to still make the players feel the toll of getting these extra materials.
I can't wait to see the discussion tomorrow on Feedback after I've gotten my hands on this game of the year hopefull.

Hahaha. I can't stop laughing. This game is pure epic win. And it just shows it when you begin dream with dialogue trees. Adam, did you choose Paragon, Renegade, Charm, or Intimidate in your dreams tree? And also, your 5/5 review for the first Mass Effect is completely justified. Just because ME2 has surpassed it in every way, doesn't mean that it's not a 5. Although I guess it could be said (like in your Halo 3 review) that you want to take stars away from ME1 just to put the games in perspective. Or, better yet, remove the ratings all together. Just write your opinions on the game and leave it at that.

/-------------Adam, you are a genius whose reviews are that of college papers
Neutral------Adam, you seem to convey the games you review to the extent that people will get your point and make a true decision in buying the game.
\---------Adam, you are someone who tries to manipulate people into thinking what's what, and are a false profit in what you think you are.

I almost always start Paragon, so of course I will pick that one, and it is true. Your reviews are amazing and the dialogue you use makes me guess and look it up in a dictionary. Though I will say, I was the one who convinced myself to get this game, and even though I pre-ordered it, you made me not want to cancel it.

Dreaming dialogue scenes??? Nothing new. Happens to me when I play a game for an obscene amount of time too. Also I close my eyes and what do I see? I am running around in MW2 or something. Looks amazing. Alas with my work load its going to take me a month to get through one play through. I will only have time for about 10 hours a week to play. sad but the real world beckons.

Wow, Adam, you can really pump a game up. I can't wait to try this now. I've recreated my mom in the Mass Effect world and made her the biggest jerk in the universe. For some reason she doesn't appreciate the homage...
