"Adult" games, if meaning Violence, I do have to say my Sister's Husband bought Modern Warfare 2 and he plays it with their kids. I remember when the kids were playing a Rainbow 6 game and soon someone showed disaproval and they never played it again.
    Boy how times change.

interesting points about 360/PS3. im one of those folks that have just about made a complete jump from 360 to PS3. i am sick of the 360 nickel and dime, paying for tiny 1" pictures to put next to your name and xbox live gold account needed to DL demos??? you mean i have to pay MS to advertise for them and their 3rd party devs? (a la 50$ gold acct just for demos, wallpapers, pics etc...)

i am currently playing assassins creed 2 on the PS3, and im a little frustrated at the gameplay. im wondering if i might enjoy it more on the 360 like i did the 1st game because i must say the 360 controller is my fave. i also use it on the PC.

anyways, i love feedback. it has replaced most of my old podcasts that i would listen to while surfing game news.

cheers guys, keep up the swell show!!!

ps- just got to the point where Patrick was talking about what i just typed above. i hope for PS3 parity so that MS will be more competitive as opposed to being the little evil monopoly guy with our satchels in a vice.

Yeah, Abbie what kind of interesting things do you going to have for the next show? XD
Best ending in the feedback history so far.
P.S.:The beginning was not bad it all, with that "Technical Problem"
    Great show.

Guys, thinks for taking the time to answer my question. Great discussion as usual. Although I gotta be frank, you guys need some rest. Especially Adam Sessler and Abbie Heppe whose eye bags are really prominent. Next thing you know you'll be craving for human brains!

Great shirt Adam, true SACKBOY!!! Great show too. Nice to know Im not alone in my ideals of what makes a good game, Like the linearness issue. Every great game brings balance to the force.

Wii market was there as shown by Resident Evil 4. Third parties dropped the ball so as I Wii owner I don't feel sympathy for them.

I like how you guys complain about the lack of good games on the Wii. But then you complain nintendo isn't supporting those games with advertising. I don't know about you guys, but I don't think bad games deserve that support.

For me i like linear games until i best them. Then i sometimes may go back and beat it again but usually a second time is the end of it (ratchet and clank being an exception because im insane and could play it for years) non linear open world games are usually good for absorbing my time. ill still go back and run around killing people in prototype (even though i hate the game) because im so free im not as happy when i first played through uncharted 2 but im not as bored as when i played through uncharted 2 for the 6th time.

Good feedback brought up some interesting points especially with linear and non-linear games. Now I like both and for different reasons, I like linear games because I can get into the story much easier and usually the gameplay is better than non-linear games (mainly because of the pacing); and with non-linear games I can be in a world I enjoy and simply enjoy it and not worry too much about story.

I love listening to G4 podcast and debates like this... it makes me feel smart lol, But anyways I agree with everything they said, every bit of it. The reason the Wii is doing so well is because of the whole 1st party games coming out and the fact that Nintendo i guess doesn't really help broadcast the fact that they even have 3rd party companies you know, They put so much into showing off mario and luigi that no one really knows the Wii by anything else but that one system with Mario Kart or New Super MArio Bros... In My opinion if Nintendo wants to start really shoveling in the doe they're going to have to reach out to all sorts of gamers not just the kids and the parents who think they're getting the right thing because of the fact that they grew up playing mario and that means this game must be good then.

I actually hate Nintendo at this point, i bought my Wii pretty much just to be able to play my GC games still and to make some room on my entertainment center, but The major reason was because of Super Smash Bros. Brawl... and the hype for that was so high and i had been waiting for that game sense it was originally suppose to be released when the Wii did, but when i got it i beat it in a couple hours and then i played as all the characters and thats it... done and now my Wii's collecting dust.

But I think that Nintendo should use their 3rd Party companies more and that SONY and MICROSOFT should keep doing what they're doing, SONY is the action/ adventure kings as of right now because of Uncharted 2 and its bomb shell on Microsoft but i hope to see alot come out of Microsoft this year. I hope its something more than just Halo Reach because i mean i think i've lost alot of hope for Bunjie with ODST unfortunitly. ODST was horrible in my opinion i mean you beat and you play Firefight but then what? Theres no Multiplayer other than firefight so then what?... sorry bout that rant for those of you who red this lol didn't mean to type so much but i really like my video games...

I'm really exited for all the great games coming out this year but I'm most exited for mass effect 2 and heavy rain because I'm a sucker for a good story and these look like they are going to have exactly that. But do you think that the adult nature in these games will hurt there sales and even if they don't do you think that there is any point to have that kind of content in games? Dose it drive the story or is it unnecessary?

I Love Abbie Heppe, she is so cute.

I do not know whats got me more excited Mass Effect 2 coming out so soon, or Bioshock 2 coming out shortly there after. I wonder if the big game Adam was reviewing just happened to be Mass Effect 2, after seeing the special on it I just can not wait. You would think after seeing microsofts sucess with games like Mass Effect, Gears of War, and others that the other two (Nintendo & Sony) would catch on and promote more titles so they can be more than just a one two punch. I mean Nintendo does not care for third party devs, and Sony can not hold and exclusive. (ex: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and who knows next?)

Not to my suprise yet another great episode and on a Wed (gasp:o). This is just an idea but I think this show could be great on g4 once a week late night sometime. Keep the regulars on and sprinkle in some guest developers, maybe the latest gametrailers, whatever else you can think of and voila. Thats my feedback:).
