Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition features two new chapters: Lost in Nightmares which has Chris and Jill taking on Wesker's mansion on and Desperate Escape with Jill and Josh making their escape from the Tri-Cell facility.

Can anyone tell me if this game is like an expansion pack that will just load up from the original re5 game and all it's saved content and upgraded weapons will still be available to play with?

I wonder how many editions the developers plan on making? RE5 Collectors Edition, RE 5 Gold Edition, RE 5 Limited Edition..What else? RE 5 Directors Cut Edition, RE 5 The-one-you-didn't-flush-down- the-toilet-bowl Edition, RE 5 Almost RE 6 Edition. RE5 Infected with HIV Edition.

I'm waiting till they actually come up with an actual Final Edition so I don't have to waste my money on previous editions with lesser content.

I really like RE. They need to hit the R and D team up though, so they can update things like not being able to move while shooting and a cover system. Although RE5 didn't compare to Gears with cover and things, the graphics and and even the story was much better than gears, despite Sessler's negative review. Since Gold looks to be about the same as 5, I guess we'll have to wait for the next one to be innovative.

well i never played re5 casue i saw the whole story on youtube and i may get both because duh capcom fan all the games comming out is not my type at all so ill have to get the ones i missed and the new ones out so re5 yea

I think Ill pass I already traded my Resident Evil 5 copy so I dont think Ill buy the game again even if it has different missions shouldve been another DLC IMO

I think I will play ff13 the week it comes out then the next week I will play GOW3 and finish i it. If I am not already addicted to ff13 of course.

But about RE5 DLC I know the game is not the best but I still enjoyed it and will get the dlc.

Yeah March is going to be a great month I am getting GOW3 and ff13. But both games are released a week apart I do not know how I am going to play.

Really looks like the mansion expansion is a recreation of the original RE, so should be lots of fun to play through... new enemies too and more Mercenaries weapon load outs.. sounds like a decent chunk of DLC, ill get it.

I like this. It seems to be keeping what I liked about RE5, but the style in the new levels looks more like RE4 and the previous games.

$49.99!? The game was decent, but it has been out for a while now. I already sold my copy of RE5 after that whole DLC on the disc crap went down, but I could probable buy another copy and get the DLC for cheaper than $49.99.
