FuzzyHammer, How can you say that they are better? They look like they would be harder to use and don't have as many options. And how can a rectangle piece of equipment be easier to carry around when the Eigenharp has a strap?

this IS a fancy midi controller, but that's all that it is... and way over priced. expression date is sent via 1's and 0's just like the rest of the midi data...Oh, but it doesn't actually have a MIDI port, so... fail.

Here are some cheaper alternatives we already had that don't cost over $5,000, in fact, I don't think these cost more than $1,000:
- Roland GR-20
- Akai Professional EWI4000S Electronic Wind Controller
- Studiologic MP-117 MIDI Foot Controller Pedalboard
- M-Audio Axiom Pro 61

You pick: use your guitar, hands, mouth, feet, whatever.
If you have to have a computer to run your sounds, then there's really nothing new this device does because there are plenty of sound libraries all over the place and that's probably where most of the money is going towards.

If you're looking for something that looks crazy that comes with a lot of keys, try the AXiS-64 pro MIDI controller! It has MORE keys than the eigenharp and costs less and is easier to carry around.
