Wow, for a 2010 game, dark void got me so disapointing, the graphics sucks, the gameplay sucks, the command sucks (x2) .. my note: 3/10

I played the demo and I wasn't too wowed by it. I admit I expected more out of the demo, but even if I didn't hear all the jazz about it beforehand, I still feel it didn't show much. I was hoping for some introduction about the vertical battling. I felt that was the most interesting part of the hype. I feel this demo doesn't portray enough of the game. I'll probably wait til the game review or later in the year if it drops in price.

I know theres alot of disappointment, and to a certain degree I may understand from certain view points as to why some folks have been displeased. But I do have to disagree. For me atleast I think the game has some potential, dont get me wrong its not a block buster hit, but it is one of those types of games you play in between said block buster title, like a filler. I think this game is going in the right direction, I think this is the game Iron Man should of been, it just needs to be tighter controled in terms of combat mechanics, and make it a lil more fast paced. Enough so that you can control it that you get the full on experience.

the people who say this game's graphics are average blow my mind. your scale must go from uncharted 2 as being the best to clusters revenge as being the worst for this to be in the middle. this game would have average graphics on a playstation 2 where at a new generation and the bar really needs to be raised for a game to even be passing

yeah i agree with most in that i didnt even finish the demo it was soo bad.
the flight was way not representative of the time taken from a delay and promotion of its elements, poor.

Off topic but isn't the voice actor Nathan Drake. I kinda figured it from the laugh. I know he also played Romeo in ODST. Man that guy really gets around in the gaming world

I think that the gameplay was excellent. the fly mechanic is great works very well and I love the fact u can fly whenever u want to or just hver over the battle field and rain down destruction.Air jacking vehicles is also great.The shoot mechanics are pretty good too nowhere as near as bad as th shhot mechanics in that army of 2 40th day demo.The only problem is the graphics are a bit dated which is ashame considering the rest of the game is great.ps. anybody else notice that this guy sounds a awful lot like nathan drake

I found the demo fun and entertaining. I'm a fan of shooters and flying games and the meld between these two is done well in my opinion.
Is it a AAA title? No; and I would say they aren't trying to sell it like it is. The mechanics aren't revolutionary but they all actually work. I felt the physics of the flying felt natural to what a person could actually do with a jet pack (I wasn't going mach 5) and I never "stuck" to a piece of cover that I didn't want to (Like what happens in a lot of cover mechanic games.)
I think it's a well implemented and solid piece of work; the only thing in my ind left to be seen is the execution of the storyline.

Aerial combat is the wrong side of awful. The speed boost felt nothing like as such. So so graphics. I never held much hope for this game and I wasn't wrong after playing the demo. A cool idea badly implemented. A genuine shame.

this demo did not even show the new cover system. this game still looks pretty good to me. when i get some money im going to buy this game.
