Square Enix shows off more story bits, character relationships and pop songs that increase with volume over time in the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XIII.

I only hope this story is as good as FFVII.

P.S. Did anyone else notice that the guy who plays the voice of this black guy sounds a lot like Barret from FFVII: Advent Children?

i dig how theyre making ff games more "american". i mean the look of the characters have a more western look, cept the hair of course. and the english music. i like it. still has the final fantasy flair that comes with it, which is a good thing.

such creative minds. the atmosphere looks amazing. they outdid themselves again!

im all for it!

So wait.. this has Tidus in it? How does that work? Oh well not complaining, I kind of like his Character but some Auron would of been more fun even if he is dead. As for the music.. yeah it was a little on the loud side.. but judging from from the shots of the overworld I can see its sticking a little to FF12 which is a good thing I think.. might be why some japanese gamers dont like it and American importers dont like it.. I for one liked FF12 but the license point system needs to go ;o

I dont think you were suppose to get much of the story from the trailer as they dont want to give it away. I suppose it was just to display the voice talent which all sound pretty good (And the voice acting usually is.. usually) though the arch of story from X has me wondering and a bit excited to see how that plays out.. if that really IS tidus.. but looks amazingly like him and the same guy is doing his voice.

So I guess we'll see in a few months!

Square Enix never stops amazing me, haven't been this excited for a game since kingdom hearts 2, and this trailer succeeded, my head has officialy 'asploded'.

Final Fantasy XIII has the most potential I've ever seen in a console RPG. Great graphics, great story, and great gameplay are all key things when it comes to making a triple A title. Square Enix has been taking their time and it looks like it will pay off on March 9th. FFXIII's coming, and it's coming fast. Myself and a family member have preordered this game back in October and like I said it is coming.

I've heard very bad things about this game from people who've played the Japanese hate it and the Americans who imported it hate it I sure hope there wrong but buyer beware.

im not sure what the storys about but i am sure that theme song sucks..maybe they think becausethe lead is a female they need the gayest song they could come up with..i dunno..

The guy fixing the music should be shot... i don't care which song it is, but he should tone down that volume... having a song with lyrics already messes up with everything, try to keep it lower than the people talking
