Square Enix shows off more story bits, character relationships and pop songs that increase with volume over time in the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XIII.

I'm sorry to tell you all this, and i do hope it saves you $60+, but the news seems to be slow in crossing international waters. Final Fantasy XIII will be the last final fantasy, the game sucks, the dungeons are now straight lines, the story is pathetic, there are so many game breaking bugs that people stopped counting (though sankaku is trying to keep track). square has apologized for it, and a lot of people have lost their jobs. save yourself the money and draw two parallel lines on a piece of paper, there you've played the game.
this is not a flame, this is not slander, i would just like everyone to know that square dropped the ball on this and you are welcome to look up the info yourself

Wow I'm speechless.
The first Final Fantasy was the one that got me into rpg games. FF7 remains my favorite followed by FF3 and FF1 as the most memorable. This one actually looks promising to be just as good.

Music reminds me of Street Fighter music.. why do they always make these bad ass games with the most horrible music? Eh whatever i'm sure some people like it, anyways i am a huge Final Fantasy fan.. Been waiting for this one for awhile. And i can get it on my 360 yayness.

I'm getting ready for work, so I don't have time to read all of the comments. Sorry if I just rehash.....
I admit I'm one of the ones who jumped on the FF bandwagon at FF7. To this day, it's still the single greatest game I have ever played. Well, maybe Uncharted 2 is up there, but thats apples and oranges. Anways, 8 was decent, 9 was decent, 10 was like pulling teeth, 11 isnt even FF in my opinion, and 12 was ok, but not good enough to get me to finish the game. At any rate, I just hope this instills the sense of wonder and awe that 7 brought me. I don't mind admitting that 7 just about had me in tears at the end. Everything after that has pretty much just gone down hill.
I'm excited, and hopeful for this.

Does anyone know what the fal'cie's role in all this is? I know that the l'cie are chosen by fal'cie to do things for them, but what are fal'cies? Why does everyone hate them?

ff has gone downhill thats for sure. this looks just like the past 5 ff games. the music sucked, nothing drew me in but big numbers and pretty colors.

Ok, so I imagine this game is going to be epic on a five star level. And hopefully, if you have an HD TV, then this game is going to blow you away. But even without the HDTV, this game is going to be epic no matter, and hopefully, the gameplay does not suck. We await you Final Fantasy 13, WE AWAIT YOU!!!!

Is there anyone that cares about console wars THAT OWN BOTH SYSTEMS?
I sure as hell don't...I copped my PS3 after there were enough exclusives that deemed buying one (Uncharted 2, God of War 3, and FF13). But I honestly didn't care before I owned both. Was going to buy FF13 for the BOX but I beat Sephiroth on the PS1 back in college...call me nostalgic
With that being said....I'm loving this little broad "Lightning?" If they off her like that broad in FF7, I'm going to be pissed. You can tell this lady only shoots for the head!...

Oh my god you ps3 fans are Really out of your minds. The xbox has no problem with the same games that the ps3 has. Ps3 Is no Better and only less for more money

final fantasy is not my kinda game way too long and crazy emo but the graphics in this one are really good like a movie so its a lil intresting

Finished it weeks ago, any comment it's gameplay and some story outline. They play a sweet CGI scene from the game. lol Heres hoping SE put enough extra content in the International version.
