Played the Demo.. It's like God of war/Ninja Gaiden/ Star Wars Force Unleashed.. It's a great hack N slash with Nudity.. Looks worth getting.. It's on Xbox marketplace to try the demo..

waitadamnminute, did I just seriously hear someone talk about how this game is really just derivitive, a typical hero's journey? Boy, I sure as hell hope you're paying attention to the part where the source material for this is the original work of the same title. Swear to God, every douche who thinks this is just a clever game, with no knowledge of the source material should be slapped with the book itself...

I never was into games that required constant button mashing. I played the first God of War and was bored within 10 minutes. It took a major effort to play it for another 3 hours after that and then I just couldn't take it anymore. Thank god it was a rental!

Felt the same way about Dante's Inferno after playing the demo. I can see how it would also become repetitive very quickly.

The demo was fantastic! Although the setting and story line are way different, the game play screamed GOW. But who cares. Beautiful game! Cut scenes are top notch and the powers and eerie feel to the game are wonderful. I'm sold! Who knows...could be the next Batman if the rest of the game is as cool as the demo.

I am getting this game for sure, the demo sold me. And what has me excited is as you progress you can unlock moves to keep the game fresh like ninja gaiden. The story also looks very cool, I am playing Bayonetta right now until this comes out. Bayonetta is a great game, but I just don't see why they needed to have the dumbest plot and worst characters ever.

I know this game will get atleast a 4/5 since its a great game, only thing that could hold it back from a 5 is the fact its not an exclusive and the fact its not made by epic. Even tho this games better then gears, people like epic when they get a game they get an extra star just because.

Tried the demo & it rocked, care less about any similarity's, vids are all looking great & unless it gets terrible ratings from most people once it launches I will most likely be buying this game. By the way, if GOW was on the 360 I probably would have already bought that game too.

@ Completist It has to be the wife. She was just too naked to trust.

A little less than a month to go. I'm really interested in the Treachery circle. Who might betray Dante - his own wife, the guide or even himself?

I want this, mass effect 2, bioshock 2, Dragon age, and 1 more game and I will be set for the year, because I plan on playing This on Good/evil, Mass effect 2 on good/evil, then Dragon age all origins stories, andddddd then that last game whatever it might be on good/evil. I only play games that give me moral decisions =]

So why does this game show up every other day? I never watch the vids or read the articles. I want to enjoy the game and be surprised. Great demo, but this game is being way over exposed. Why wuld you pay $60 for something you've already seen every other day?

You know, the more I see of Dante's Inferno, the less it looks like God Of War. I'm sure the combat might feel familiar but with everything else changed up, it looks like a sweet hack n' slash. Also, I hope this game makes combat feel more weighted unlike GoW where it just felt like minor enemies were an annoyance.
