ps.. why judge on low rendered videos designed to be cruddy so they can be rapidly streamed to our computers????
if you take the time to actually google "mag screenshots", you will notice that the images are actually of nice quality... and bragging about being 15 doesn't add a lot of legitimacy to your reviewing skills

made this account just to let you know. PEOPLE, you werent playing with 256 players on the beta!!! thats not unlockable untill level 10 when your no longer doing those sabotage missions!! also, as you play you will realize that its hard and slow to level in this game trying to solo and camp. whenever your doing the team work and objective oriented gameplay, you get bonuses and experience faster. thats gona be the biggest motivation for the teamwork. and think about the people who actually level high enough to be leading, they actually do good and care about winning so those are the kind of people who will be leading you and trying to coordinate things. i feel as though judging so harshly on the beta isnt fair, it actually needs to be released first, allowed a user community to form, and then we can really see if the game pulls through or not.

u guys forget that this is the beta not the final game. the whole purpose of 256 players is to somewhat simulate a real war, where one platoon affects an out come over a certain part of the battle. no one want 256 players packed in one map shooting each other resistance tried that with their multiplayer and look how that turned out. at least zipper are doing something different with the whole multiplayer genre and as good as call of duty is it's basically the same multiplayer with a different setting and a few new perks. i for one will be getting this game because its different and its actually pretty fun. 256 player game with no lag you cant beat that at all. and i want to see how many company use this thing that zipper came up with to enhance their multiplayer...lol i bet xbox 360 couldn't pull something like MAG off.

Now, I am just judging from this video, and what it's first impressions are. To me the animation seems a little "low budget" or at least last generation. The aiming is a good example. Oh and especially the knifing animation. Don't get me wrong, I am a hardcore gamer, and and a loyal one too. I tend to make my comments seem reasonable. Like one guy, I welcome change too, but its how you deliver it is what matters(for the most part). That's what I have found what developers tend to make mistakes with. The idea sounds great, and feels(and sounds) like it has a lot of potential, but what matters is the delivery, and thats what shows the potential. Overall, I feel this game is unique in its way, and attempting something that developers have not yet tried. I would definitely like to see and game more like this, but improved. To be perfectly honest, I love MW2 and I think its a brilliant game, but the multiplayer is just a quick rush in way. And I tend to get bored at it. I want a multiplayer game that has tactics and strategy. And actually people willing to at least attempt teamwork, not just little kids rushing and crap. Overally, 7/10. I'm 15 by the way

I honestly expected more lag from, well LAG, however, I also expected to see more players. I've seen more players on screen at once in a Halo 3 beta than this game at supposedly 256 total players. I think the only pitch for this game is the amount of players, and I just don't see that here.

its a ton of ppl vs a ton of ppl, the concept of that is amazing and yes working with a ton of ppl may be tough and the graphical drawbacks and all that is due to the immense number of ppl, but if a game like this can play fine without lag just think of what future games will be like, just something to think about be4 u judge to harshly

Definitely no 'wow factor' for me either... I just found the whole concept rather lame and silly... not 'nasty' enough, if you catch my drift.
But what do I know? I generally avoid on-line play, even with something as good as MW2 'cos guys are always such utter wankers.

IMO, it's ok...they have a lot to work on, after playing the beta my hype for it went way down. Some of the gun sounds are a bit off, the knifing seems weird and sluggish, some of the guns seem to shoot slow.

Maybe its just post MW2 syndrome, one of the most well polished FPS's ever, and going to a game that has so much hype but with so many things that need adjusting, makes me not like it as much as i want to. Seeing as its only a beta i'll give it time to improve, but i'll prolly rent this before i buy it.

the beta for this game isnt bad but their is a few things that keep it from being perfect , some of the controls would take getting used to and the physics could use some fine tuneing , but other than that the levels and the sheer size of them are amazing , i did hate havieng to run long distances to get to my objective though

I loved it. the maps are large it takes proper tactics to win on ether side. I love that their isn't a kill cam. im sorry to all who cant figure out how to work around snipers but lets face it if you get shot and can't use the damage indicator (not to mention the screen turns in the direction you where shot in when you die) you probably not as good at shooters as you think. Yes its true that aiming can be more difficult but the game is designed so a you lv you build your skill in the weapon of choice so it no longer becomes an issue. if you having issues aiming you may want to look into another weapon. Lag does not happen. iv been playing the game since it came out and have yet to see a lag issue. if your having a lag problem its not game side its your internet. (i fix and do internet issues for a living so i know this isn't a game issue). their have been times iv seen individual players lag out but no one else in the game is having an issue so that wouldn't be caused by the game. if your having connection issues and are using a router make sure you open your nat port. If you don't know how to do that you have internet go look it up. game plays great. iv been playing for about 15 lvs now and no matter what you play with the game it has a very nice balance and realistic feel to it. I do hope they come out with a Mag set with a headset included that way every one can get the most out of the game. I would hate to see this fail just because squads cant communicate.

doesn't seem very big anymore. Don't say "oh it has 256 people" that's cool and all, but just how many of those people are YOU going to face. It looks just like another FPS with worse graphics
