I don't like Western Games for one reason: Messed up aiming.

Either your character is the greatest shot ever to have lived (which I'm slightly more fine with, seeing as the legendary cowboys could [supposedly] do stuff like that) or your character couldn't hit the broad side of a Barn door. I know they either want it to be realistic, or really exagerated, but can't they find an in between, like normal shooters and things like that? In Western games it feels like the combat, the shooting comes DEAD last.

Also staring at horse ass all day gets old after a while (Damn you Oblivion)

Everyone buy Yakuza 3 so Sega will feel the need to send us Yakuza 4 so we can play it's awesomeness. It comes out March 31.

I hope I'm not the only one here looking forward to Yakuza 3 and Mafia 2 I'm definitely getting those games along with Red Dead Redemption and maybe Bioshock 2.

Seriously though everybody buy Yakuza 3 so sega will send us Yakuza 4 dammit! Sega did not even feel the need to dub Yakuza 3 because of how badly parts 1 and 2 did. Sobuy part 3 so we can get a feature full release for part 4.

I chuckled on the Spielberg comment. I want to play Bayenetta but I'm saving up for ME2 CE and Bioshock 2. RDR and SPC are also on my radar along with Split Second which I think it coming down later in the year. IF Starcraft II comes out at the end of the year you're balance will be complete haha.

To the people saying they don't like westerns, check out the Sergio Leone westerns: Fistful of Dollars (which I believe is actually a remake of a Kurosawa film called Yojimbo, and later remade again as Last Man Standing starring Bruce Willis), For a Few Dollars More, GB&U, Duck You Sucker (aka Fistful of Dynamite), and Once Upon a Time in the West. Pure cinematic awesome. Also, Once Upon a Time in America...not a western, but excellent none the less, and all featuring scores by the unmatched Ennio Moriconne.

Also check out Outlaw Josey Wales, High Plains Drifter, and Unforgiven (yeah, I'm big on Eastwood), and Deadwood. Magnificent Seven is good as well (also a remake of a Kurosawa film called Seven Samurai)

For kicks, see if you can find They Call Me Trinity, and Trinity is Still My Name.

I'm 17 years old, and I'm so excited for Red Dead Redemption! But I know what Adam means, I have friends who say it looks dumb, I ask why, and they say "because it's a western game."

So Adam, I couldn't help but notice you didn't mention Nintendo...

Mister Sessler, I think you actually have a little bit of sway with the consumers in the game market. I think I speak for a lot of us weekly soapbox viewers when I say that the more you talk about Red Dead Redemption, the bigger a blip it becomes on our game release radar. You officially did it for me this week... I now want to play RDR about as much as Mass Effect 2, MGS: Peace Walker and Dead Space 2.

I'm honestly not interested in any of the games he just mentioned. I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy XIII, MGS Peace Walker, Metroid Other M, and the new Zelda. I'm not really sure what to think about Heavy Rain yet. I don't think that it has been fairly represented in the gaming media, so I'm waiting for it to come out to get a better understanding of what it is. I think that this year will be better for Xbox than last year was, though. Last year, the PS3 had much better games, but with games like Mass Effect 2 and Halo Reach this year, I think that Microsoft has a pretty good lineup. Sony has lots of awesome games too though. God of War 3 is going to be huge, and maybe PSP go will get a price drop. $250 is way too much for a handheld system.

Also, I heard that Square Enix is planning to announce a much-requested game this year. Hopefully it'll be that Final Fantasy VII remake that I bought my PS3 for...

other then the new zelda news which was just released you got basically everything covered. The biggest and most anticipated game for me is most defiantly RED DEAD REDEMPTION, which just looks fantastic and as you have said on the feed and on here, us gamers need and have been craving a western for a long time. Can't wait till April (hope no delays)
