Bayonetta & Darksiders with X-Play's Abbie Heppe

Really i like how her criticism for Darksiders conflicts with her view on Bayonetta. Darksiders is deeper then Bayonetta. The only thing Bayonetta has for it is stylish combat....that is it. The story was terrible, voice acting horrendous and it felt shallow. Darksiders was easily more engaging and despite borrowing elements from various games it still meshed quite well, my only complaint for the game was the lack of story driving and some bland environments. Abbie is easily entertained by flashy combat and will overlook the low points in Bayonetta (the ps3 version had some of the worst loading times ever.) Both are great games but imo they even out, it comes down to what you like: flashy non stop combat or mixing combat in with puzzles. Game Informer holds a better grip on reviewing their games and not skewing them.
