I was 15 when this decade started, and for over a decade there was only one game that I called my favorite game, and that was Ocarina of Time (how original). However, if I was asked what my favorite game of this generation was, hands down it would be Mass Effect.
Mass Effect let me experience something that I never experienced before in a game. The complex interactions and the how the characters and story was placed in your hands was something magical. I never had so much fun with a game, and a game never made me feel so powerful and weak all at the same time.
You know a game is good when people are still talking about who they saved at the end, and they still argue over whether or not it was the right decision.
