Having read that issue of G L Corps I have to disagree. Sure death has an open door in DC but they fought hard to bring Kyle back. The only problem with his resurrection was that after he was revived he stands up like nothing happened. And then there is Guy, to see him turn accept his rage and use it like he did was great. this to me was one the best issues of the series.
