I like to hear any director talk about what they do and how they can get better. You can get tips from anyone. Seems like she could make a good feature film if she wanted to.
I almost seem to forget she's a porn star during the interview. Not because she doesn't say "porn" a bunch but because she represents herself respectfully - outside of the punk rock lesbian scenes or gang-bang stuff.
Anyway, she's good at what she does and that's good energy.

This interview makes me want to see the Girlfriend Experience. I have to say Sasha Grey seems to be a savvy individual, a trait I didn't expect to find in a porn star.
[To the interviews critics] Sure her views on the adult film industry were one sided, but it is a promotional interview and she's in the business. However, she did suggest that those getting into the adult film industry should do so for their own goals and not for someone else's agenda. A clear warning that in an industry that accepts everyone, one must be wary of being taken advantage of.

Her ideas are very naive, most people could care less about creativity in porn. And she isn't a actor she has sex for money, she is just a glorified prostitute. C'mon G4 don't start associating with porn, it's a nasty business that shouldn't legitimized.

I was moderated for a valid comment supporting the adult entertainment industry? Great work G4. If anything it was supporting having this particular video on the site. Yet you leave the person who has no citation for statistics and is just propagating an overly conservative view bringing this sites content decisions into question. The mixed messages being sent here are confusing as hell to me.

Notice that she did'nt talk about any of the pitfalls that we all know are very real and very dangerous to your health . Yeah she briefly eluded to those concern but it seems like she could have put a little more emphasis on those aspects . Just like this interview was intended for mature audiences , the immature are watching aswell . You think it's cool to have Sasha Grey on G4 advocating the porn industry , imagine how cool it would be to have a doctor on G4 letting all the kids know that at least 2/3rds of all adult entertainers have to live ailments or even terminal diseases .

That was a pretty solid interview. Though I gotta say that the part towards the end when she was describing people getting into the porn industry reminded me a lot of the reasoning military recruiters use.
