I really do like the Metroid Prime Trilogy. It is great with the new controls. Yea i can say that switching between beams and visors can be a little a pain, b/c i i sometimes accidentally press the wrong button. All in all I do like the control settings b/c it is so much easier to control. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes has a lot of stuff in it. I say this is a must but game if you are into this game. this game has so much content. I would definitely recommend to get the Guide Book. If you have played the first 2 on the Game Cube, to me it is a lot difficult at first with the controls but then after a little while. I definitely recommend this game. 3 games in one, so much content, 3 different difficulties, for 50$. I love this game a lot.

    I'm 27 and I've always felt like I am one of those fringe gamers of my generation;

1)I've never cared much for the Mario series.
The only Mario games I've loved were:

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Super Mario 64.

the rest of them were abit inaccesable for me.

I'm not the Perfectionist or the Collector and I hated the earlier games where the jump had to be just right or I have to get to the finish before the clock runs out.

with that said I AM NOT PAYING FULL PRICE FOR NEW SUPERMARIO WII !!! especially since it's a revamp.

    2) I love first person shooters but I'm not a Call of Duty or Modern Warfare guy :P.

They are good games, I can see the appeal, but they just don't speak to me, so I don't own any, nor do I intend to.

Call me old fashion but no first person shooter has ever truely captured the goodness of 007 goldeneye on the 64, especially with one shot kill and the fast movement cheats enabled for multiplayer.

Why was I willing to play those levels over and over just to get more stuff for me to use with my friends in co-op and multiplayer?

Why did it matter to me?

Why has no FPS dulicated that reward system since?

I'm just saying alot of games have done bigger and better things but they have missed that feeling.

I could not agree more with Abbie's sentiments about the confusing maps in ODST. My friends are I were trying to play through the campaign solely for the purpose of unlocking all the maps for Firefight mode. The map became so confusing that we ended up giving up.

If I wanted to send G4tv a question for them to answer... where would I send it to?

I must confess to being slightly frustrated that you guys didn't get to discuss Dragon Age origins, which is a game that I'm determined to buy. It seems to me that there's not much to say about the game other than that it's a slow burn title, a deep rpg experience, and worth your money. To add to that list, I'd like to point out that at various online stores, such as amazon, that practically no-one is reselling their copies of Origins, whereas even Modern Warfare and the like have at least twenty used copies up for sale.

Wow.. no love for Dragon Age: Origins?? I just got playing that for 12 hours straight yesterday. Also, I don't remember them doing much for PC, but I guess there's really no exclusives for PC... ok.. i'm going back to play Dragon Age... have fun.

Sooooooo much interesting discussion that I'm struggling with where to begin to comment, so I think I'll just take the lazy way out and say this was an absolutely tremendous episode guys.

I like how they threw in MW2 and AC2 for the Xbox360 section, and didn't mention Forza 3.

God, I hope M$ picks it up next year, because trying to make it seem like MW2 is exclusive to the Xbox is kinda sad.

I'm 15 and my dad let me buy mw2 and he played it after I beat it and he didn't even notice the bad stuff. I even explained everything in the game to him and he just nodded and I asked him if he understood or cared and he said no and kept playing the campain 2 times over.

why don't you ever talk about dragon age it has great value for money becase it can be played over so many times, and it is just a great game, it is for sure the most under rated game of the year, but i might just think that cus im a bioware fanboy.

When you guys started to talk about that one gamer who still dosn't have modern warfare 2, you were in a way talking about me. Since yes I still dont have it. I would totally already be poening online right now with my copy, but my dad feels that 13 is still not a mature enough age to actually purchase the game. I feel that he is totally wrong, but then again I have never played it and I'm only 13.
