Final Fantasy XIII Release Date Announcement Dev Video

Square Enix invites you to meet the masterminds behind the upcoming epic RPG, Final Fantasy XIII. Oh yeah, they happen to announce the North American/European release date, if you happen to be interested.

Thank god Left 4 Dead 2 comes out soon, if I had both at the same time I'd be one conflicted young woman. xD

Not quite, they list it day, month, year in the video. The release date is March 9, 2010. I know cause Square Enix sent out an email to people who signed up for the news letters that says March 9, 2010. Here's what the email said...

Square Enix is truly excited to announce that FINAL FANTASY XIII will be released on March 9, 2010. Wow Sept.. So 1 year( 10 months) from now will have our hands on it, least we have a date finally though. I have a feeling this game is gonna be pretty epic and can't wait to play it =) With the release date this far I doubt will be seeing FFXIV(14) in the same year and I'm thinking 2011 for sure now, will be to busy with 13 lol but then again we never really know, so it could happen..

Wait, wtf, the SD version of the video has the NA and EU release dates in the description. And why do they have different comment sections?

Aww, I wanted to know the release date :(

I hope the paradigm shift system works well, so far my favorite combat system was the garment grid from FFX-2 (say what you want about the plot and style choices, that game had an awesome class/combat system).
