Trophies would be awesome, and maybe this will lead to more games being redone onto current gen consoles. They've already done a few with the Wii, but that's not enough graphical improvement over the gamecube.

so... the only difference between this and the original two games is that it's programed to play at a HD resolution?

PS2 graphics in high def... that just seems to make it look worse. lol You'd think that they'd add some textures or something graphics wise that they couldn't do on the PS2 but is easy to do now.

I think I'm gonna get this because I loaned my original God of War to a friend and surprise surprise I never saw it again. Come to think of it I think he has my copy of Shadow of the Colossus what a jerk. Man I want that rumor of Shadow of the Colossus coming out on PS3 to be true. Oh well, I do agree with you shackelfrdace69. I want the demo and the trophies will be cool, but I do hope it looks way better in HD.

doesnt look abunch bettr than the ps2 version but thats prolly bc those lookd way 2 good for ps2 anyway :P
