Dust 514 Debut Trailer

CCP has expanded the EVE Online universe to a brand new, console-based FPS MMO game called Dust 514. Check out the first in-engine trailer.

Blood Siphon

It does look generic , however the thing that will set it apart is that the people that play eve online like myself will be playing still and everything both sides do will effect the entire universe of eve , not just 1 part of the game , the infantry do the dieing , while the pilots do the flying, gota love the fact that they will be making console and pc connect as a mmo/rpg / rts / fps , it will pretty much be the first of its generation and theres nothing else out there like it.

Looks pretty. But what we saw looks like scripted events useing in game graphics. And what did we really see? A dude got knocked down, got up, shot another dude, then jumped on a ship just to see another ship shot down. I'm not impressed, YET. What I want to know is what will set this game apart from other games that are perfectly capable of providing scenarios like we just saw in this trailer. Otherwise, its a standard sci-fi shooter. If thats strait up in-game footage, no scripting, then I'm impressed. I guess I don't know anything about EVE though. I check it out right now.

I read the press release, and then to follow up but watching this trailer... I think I need to change my pants. I hope it's not console only though. No PC love will hurt me. You know, considering the platform Eve Online is on and all.

Now this is what halo should be!

Also I hope its violent and not all like super unviolent like many games today, I mean when you shoot someone in the head part of their head should be missing and brain matter splattered everywhere!!! Not to mention how much blood would gush out when your heads shot open.

Also I hope it goes to space and not stays on earth, boring earth.
