I still preffer my slow moving DEAD zombies over fast INFECTED zombies.

The slow walking zombie is just scarier, because well.. they are undead! Rigor mortis makes them move slowly, and that's what makes it half believeble.

The fast zombie is not undead, it is just some infected *living* person, nothing mysterious or other-worldly about that at all.

maybe people of our generation got tired/accustomed of waiting for the bombs to drop or aliens to land. nazis are pass�(i like to hope). but i think that most who've last a loved one have an earnest longing to be reunited...& then they eat your brains . though it's the EXTREMELY rare film that brain munching occurs.
there is some 80s movie with a graveyard strip scene that I can't recall the title of where they capture a legless zombie & have a conversation with it "the hunger burns" it's when movies humanize the living dead that we start to relate recognizing that the need to feed is quintessential to survival. look at the situation in the reality based movie "Alive"
also it is defiantly worth recognizing the VooDoo origin of the zombie (see the "the Serpent & the Rainbow")
sometimes you just feel less than alive & it's nice knowing others do too

Love zombies in every part of the media and its nice to know I'm not the only one who considers public places for their end of the world zombie take over brownie points. :D Its a fun hobby to have!

If it's the need to argue for reviews (or, rather, against rabid fanboys) that prevents soapbox topics like this, I'd be in favor of banning fanboys altogether. Or perhaps Sessler needs to stop caring about what the more blatantly biased commentators have to say. However, he should of course care about what I have to say. Because I am the best person ever.

Man Adam i have always respected the g4 cast! But thanks to this soap box i respect you guys even more. You have given me a more useful insight into the reason why zombies are an actual terror. I thank you and your soap boxes.

i think these sopaboxes need their own segment on the actual tv show, i find myself more eager to watch these than pretty much all of the other programming. they are all entertaining but still provide food for the mind.
