I agree with Adam while, to be honest I'm pry going to only buy about four more games this year.

    2. Uncharted 2
    3.Halo ODST
    4.Madden 10

Good post but your a little off. I really wouldn't blame it all on the economy, I mean, if Modern Warfare 2 gets its sales, and Halo ODST gets its sales, and Gran Turismo 5, gets its sales, it just means the other don't sell because of lack of interest. For example, Uncharted 2 looks to be game of the year, but will it not sell Modern Warfare like numbers not because of the economy-but just lack of interest. It doesn't really matter when you launch your game, its gonna sell how its gonna sell (Look at Battiefield bad company).

I agree with Adam on this but still find delays annoying. A point that he said was that he sees the rise of the sales dowloadable games; and again I agree. However I also see the rise of rental sales go up as well, especially for places like Gamefly.com. Reasons behind this is because gamers can spend between $25 to $35, depending on how many games they want out at a time, to have up to 4 games out at any given time, with no late fees or timelines. I know this sounds like an advertisement for the site, but it makes since. You can reserve a copy of MW2, play it, beat it, spend time online, and when you get bored you can send it in for a new game, or have another game out with it. Let's just see if the amount of game movement at Gamefly goes up or down in the next year or so

While Adam is correct that small delays are a good thing, huge delays are not. Two recent examples are:
    Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
    Too Human

I know the delays were not directly to blame, but they did give the devs of these two games more time to screw up the games they made. Huge delays can also be a good thing, though. Half Life 2 was pretty much perfect.

Adam is dead on in this one. I will probaly only get two games because of the $$$ problem but i dont know if i am going to get MW2. I am definitely going to get Halo ODST, but i may get dragon age origins instead of MW2???
