This is ludacris. Charging for avatar clothes???
I had thought an Xbox avatar was pointless when i first heard they decided to include a feature of this type, but i'll admit that i have grown to like my virtual representation.
Charging for something so miniscule is unbelievably greedy of Microsoft.
The gaming industry's incessant attempts to milk its consumers for every dollar is uncomfortably obvious in this situation.
In my eyes its no different than Gamestop's desire to overcharge for everything they possibly can; they are merely exploiting something which should given as a supplement to an overall experience. If you do not agree, then forgive my ignorance and explain to me why it is that games cost $60 retail, and the following week DLC is launched at 1200 points in fantasy money; or in reality, to sane people, the price of $15.

The netflix update will ruin movie nights around the world. Instead of friends coming over, or girlfriends, just pretend you're with them!

I got a preview of the update, and I've been playing it for hours. The Achievement tracking is awesome, and I bought an RC Warthog for my avatar (most of the other avatar accessories are a waste of money). I can't wait until everything comes together: Facebook, Games on Demand (right now it's just Xbox Originals), and everything else. It's gonna be great.

The avatar clothes look ok, and if they're like 30-80 MS, then that will be perfect for when you have some left over. Being able to rejoin my party is awesome. games on demand seems ok, I'm not using it though. Over all I think It Will be a good and needed update. I wish they would add a free stuff section like in the old dashboard.

I usually have 80 points left over, and since it wont help me buy anything, I might as well get some Halo clothing.
Also, ACHIEVEMENTS CAN NOW UNLOCK CLOTHING! COOOOL!

screw avartar clothing and crap the only thing good about the update is the games on damaned and netflex stuff screw avartars and sony

If it where 50ms for a pack of outfits that would be cool, but for a single article of clothing is kind of silly. I dont see the point in the movie theater thing unless you can invite someone and only one person has to pay for it. And even then, why not just invite someone over, in real life?
The update looks like it might be good, but hopefully not so full of un-needed crap. -

I have a hard time buying real clothes let alone virtual...i'll be skipping that option but the other stuff looks nice.

Netflix pretty much blows because the "watch now" selection is dry and I still think Avatards are retarded but the new multi player features sound ok.
