Star Wars is one of my 1st memories. I saw it at a drive-in in Newark, NJ. the weekend before labor day. I had gotten my ears pierced and I was going to start kindergarden. My brother and my cousin and I sat on a blanket on the roof of the car. When the opening sequence started my mouth dropped open because I was so amazed by what was happening on the screen.Star Wars was the first movie I sat through with out asking a bunch of question, with out asking to go to the bathroom or for popcorn(which is amazing for a 4year old)After the movie was over my brother jokingly said that my parents should get a copy because it was the quietest I had ever been. That halloween I was of course princess Leah.And because the movie made me start asking all kinds of questions about space and science, that my parents couldn't answer, i got my first library card too.I'm now a middle school science teacher. Star Wars started a love of science and science ficition which is still with me today.Thank You Mr. Lucas
