Livio Radio Review

Chris Hardwick reviews the Livio Radio digital audio receiver that brings the free Internet radio like Pandora off the computer speakers and to any room in your house.

What You Need To Know

  • The Livio Radio is non-descript with a classic look and can fit anywhere in the house.
  • Controls are simple: everything is done with the back button, volume knob and remote control.
  • Menus are easy to understand although typing can be a pain.
  • We wish it had a larger color screen.
  • You can hook the Livio up to Internet radio without a computer: just go to http://www.livioradio.com/pandora and register your radio. Reboot the radio and it will automatically load up your stations.
  • You will only need to use a computer when you add a Pandora account and that's it!
  • The Livio can fill up a room with sound despite its small size: it plays stereo sound through one speaker and also has a stereo output and a line in for an mp3 player.

  • $150.00 but well worth the price.
