MSI GT 725 Review

Chris Hardwick reviews the MSI GT725, the first ever laptop powered by the ATI HD 4850 graphics card, making it perfect for your gaming-on-the-go needs.

What You Need To Know:

  • This laptop is only 1" thin and weighs about 7 pounds.
  • Design is pretty good for comfortable gameplay, though the touch pad could get a little annoying.
  • Mouse buttons are a bit hard to click.
  • The higher end model comes with a quad core processor.
  • Our higest score from the 3DMark Vantage test was 5,300 points, making the MS1 the second fastest laptop we've reveiwed by only 400 points.

  • Laptops start at $1,450.00, though the one we reviewed is $1,700.00.
  • Either way, this is $1,000.00 cheaper than the War Machine laptop and is just as good.

Is there going to be a review of Alienware's newest gaming laptop in the near future? I'm curious to see if it beats this or not.
