Here's the first trailer for Metroid: The Other M for the Nintendo Wii from E3 2009. The game is the first 3rd-person Metroid game on the Wii and is developed by Team Ninja.

why samus talking???? that will ruen everything it will be like MGS in space thar will be endless cutsenes to show of samus can talk I HATE NINTENDO how dare they change the best game seres they ever made

Looks very Japanese. You can add any of the characters to DoA 5 and I won't recongnize.

Still looks awesome. I want to see some gameplay (and online multiplayer. Hey, a Metroid fan can dream right??).

No, team ninja sucks, and this game looks bad. I know it looks cool and exciting, but one you get passed that you see that this is another shallow team ninja game with bad camera angles and pre renderd backgrounds. The FPS version of Metroid will be missed, with all of its beautiful environments and free roaming glory. Im guessing Team ninja probably begged for this and Nintendo gave them metroid because its not as big as mario or Zelda, but they should have let them make a star fox game.

Or maybe Nintendo realised that thier FPS version of metroid isnt very story heavy so they thought this would help. Trust me im all for deeper Metroid storys, cause the FPS ones do lack that, but this is gonna be a huge suck fest. Who thinks Team Ninja is good anyways?

Looks awesome! Finally Samus talks, 3rd person gameplay, but looks very final fantasy in the story telling, y'know? Hopefully will be good though, finally get to dust off my wii

All the cutscenes look great the gameplay worries me from the looks of it I first think awsome and then when I see the gameplay I think this must belong on the DS or something only to find out that it for the wii makes me a little worried since the graphic gameplay looks worse compared to corruption.

When I think Team ninja I expect a bad @#$ legend of zelda game. Damn you nintendo, I don't care about mario or metriod I want me a new zelda game for the wii (with another dark story and a bigger world)
