This is a gameplay trailer.

And I have to say, my excitement just tripled. New aliens, specialist squad, even scarier enemy then the geth. AWESOME.

I'm guessing the dead thing was a ploy to trick Cerberus, or other enemies, so Shepard could go in with a surprise advantage.
