Chris Hardwick returns with a new iPod dock from EOS that broadcasts your music to 4 speakers up to 150 feet away, but as with all wireless speakers, one has to ask, do they friggin' work? Hardwick's got you covered.

What You Need to Know

  • A lot of the time, the sound will cut out, almost as if walking in front or around the speaker causes interference
  • There's a range extender on the base station that helps.
  • The highs are loud and clear, but the mids and lows sometimes get lost in the mix, even though they have built-in subwoofers
  • The wireless speakers have a little bit of a background hiss
  • Overall, they would be great for parties if they didn't cut out so much.
  • It's really cheap and easy to set up, but we just can't overlook the major interference issues.

Price

  • $140
