Chris Hardwick returns with a new iPod dock from EOS that broadcasts your music to 4 speakers up to 150 feet away, but as with all wireless speakers, one has to ask, do they friggin' work? Hardwick's got you covered.
What You Need to Know
A lot of the time, the sound will cut out, almost as if walking in front or around the speaker causes interference
There's a range extender on the base station that helps.
The highs are loud and clear, but the mids and lows sometimes get lost in the mix, even though they have built-in subwoofers
The wireless speakers have a little bit of a background hiss
Overall, they would be great for parties if they didn't cut out so much.
It's really cheap and easy to set up, but we just can't overlook the major interference issues.
