Samsung Memoir Cell Phone Review

We've been impressed by Samsung's touch screen cameras and now that they've combined them with a phone, we'd like to test out the Memoir's touch screen 3G browsing, email, GPS, 8 Megapixel camera with Xenon flash to see how it stacks up.

What You Need to Know

  • Design is remarkable because one side makes you think its a camera and the other is the touch screen for the camera and phone functions
  • Only .6 inches thick
  • Camera functionality is integrated really well
  • Pictures are clear and crisp with a crazy-high resolution of 3264 X 2448
  • Takes 640 X 480 video and even record in slo-mo at 120 frames per second
  • Has a micro-SD up to 8 Gigs
  • Uploads directly to your Flickr, PhotoBucket, or Snapfish directly from the phone
  • Touch screen is unfortunately unresponsive at times
  • Feels kind of plasticy and accuracy when scrolling and typing is shoddy
  • 3G Internet
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • GPS
  • Overall, its loaded with features but the touch screen is no iPhone killer. Buyer bewarned

  • $250 with a contract
