I have played this game more than twice as much as any other game I have (excluding 50hrs/week on DODS) and was very taken by the scenery and liked the visuals, but I have to agree with Adam and say that the controls were very restricting. This isn't necessarily limited to the controller scheme, but the way in which you manipulate the character and your items. I strongly disliked the fact that you could barely move while aiming. This made navigating the game almost terrible. Its not like the mass of flesh that is Chris can't hold a full-auto machine gun somewhat steady while moving at any sort of speed or that you HAVE to sight in to fire. All of this in addition to the way in which you use your items make moving through the game feel...sluggish at best. I could sense that Capcom had a death grip on the controls of past RE games for nostalgia and fanboy's sake which turned out to be a bad thing overall. Even though I haven't played this very much Co-op with a friend, I still think this really only deserves a 2/5 for the fact that it was just another shooter.

I agree with Adam Sessler about Resident Evil 5. Whenever I buy a resident evil game I get excited about playing it and usually spend a whole week playing almost none stop. (especially the great game before it resident evil 4)I bought resident evil 5 in october, now it being the end of 2009 and I still haven't bothered finishing the game. The controls are completely screwed up like adam said. During some of the boss fights you have to be on your toes and its too difficult to change weapons, leading to many frustrating deaths. Also the storyline and moving from one area of the game to the next seems to be extremely unsatisfing, like capcom rushed developing the game. boo capcom!

I know the show doesn't permit, but I feel that all the reviews should be like this. It conveys the substance and explanation needed behind the review. Along with this, a mature and thorough analysis of the game.

He justified his reasons appropriately, and gave a new insight to the many fans who are hard to escape the fact that this game in end doesn't truly earn a higher score in many respects.

In light of everything, I still have played this game more than most. This is simply due to the fact that fans have been wanting a fun multiplayer Resident Evil game for a long time. And it succeeds and is what gives a ridiculous replay value.

Adam's comments are everything else are pretty valid, mabe he should've played it co op with Morgan =]
