Sometimes, things have to die, and X-Play is aware of that, so here is a list of 13 of them, including Wii Shovelware, Tony Hawk games, and our old friend Sonic the Hedgehog.

well i personally love the sonic games and comics. and i do the sega company has messed up a lot. but i still have hope for the franchise. like if the people who make the transformer game give it to like the top game publishers like "bungie" or "epic" and so on they will make it an amazing game and so if they do that but with the sonic franchise then i mean wow they will make it f@&%ing amazing. so either sega does that or shape up. an g4 is sometimes kinda unfair when it game reviews.

Well to be honest with you all the Naruto games pretty much suck, the only reason Accel 2 is any good is due to the story being better and the action being more well normal and none of this childish non-sense. Reading the Manga you can tell the stories going to get more intense meaning the games might be more compelling. Also when we bring things to American we do kind of F things up via voices, censoring or editing here and there.

As for Sonic and Sega....well whenever anyone asks me about a new Sonic game I just say "Yeah Sonic Adventure's amazing isn't it!" Truth be told Sega hasn't been good since the DC days not to mention now a days the staff that worked at Sega isn't there anymore. True the music may stay but the quality did not. To me the last real Sonic game was SA, I don't count SA2 as it was originally meant to be a Sonic & Knuckles 2 but changed at the last minute...why we'll never know... As for games like WoW, if it weren't for private servers they wouldn't be fun at all. Now what does that tell you.....

Water levels in games I still say would be good if they were more of an exploratory path, meaning that you DON'T HAVE TO USE THEM. it's just an extra area to go to for stuff. Or at least have it so the character and swim with some real physics like actual people do. The boob thing...yeah it went nuts after DOA2....you know I'm not going to comment there as I still don't regard the DOA series as a fighting series. Well not a good one at least, I mean comparing it to something like Soul Calibur or Street Fighter and it drowns in the water....seriously not a soul would try to hold DOA's head under the water as it kills itself over and over and over again. The only real reason it still stands up to the compiTITion is a mystery....

Tony Hawks games were good but I agree it's kind of time to put away that board for a bit anyway. Playing 2 on the DC is kinda fun now and again but from looking at the newer ones you do get bored after a while. I mean it's the same as those football video games...go out and play real football, you won't fall asleep as much....well I will as I don't like the sport either way but I'll at least pretend to pay attention to you playing on the real field.

Some of those shovelware games you mentioned were launch titles so I'm not too sure they deserve to be dumped on as they never would have been too good to begin with, they are just something to help launch sales before the real games are made. Don't get me wrong the ones you showcased are pretty much crap but if your talking about the Wii I can suggest a ton of other titles that are only good for about 2-3 hours, some only and hour before I drag out the DC again. Truth be told I don't think there has been a system aside from the DC & PS1 where almost all games were good. You can say the PS2 but truth be told most of those games are good for a month or so then if you finish them they leave you wanting to do more but sadly there is nothing. Poor thing got so much dust on it I felt bad, I unplugged it from the family room TV and gave it to Mom for her to have a DVD player....well at least someone's using it. I play my PS1 games on my PSP so it's no loss. I have a DVD Recorder/Player and all our computers play DVD's so there is no reason to keep that thing in the room. Although I play more videos off my DC now a days but I digress.

You might be reading this part and saying "What's any of this got to do with anything?" Well my point is that for me it's these little gimmicky things that draw you into the games but that's all they do and then what? It's not the companies job to make you play the game, you already gave them your money so it's not their issue anymore. As for the card games well....kids now a days have the technology....which can be good.....to a point, plauing a digital Yugioh is a lazy way to play the card game without remembering the rules because a couple of seconds in a manual is too stressful now isn't it.

I swear one of these days I'm going to hear a kid say "What's a book? Oh...you mean those tablets with the flippy pages right?" Honestly companies like Konami market off these because kids are getting more lazy, it's a simple card game. I haven't played it in years but I still remember the rules, it's not too difficult took me like a day to learn. You can't screw it up if the cards are locked on screen or fly back to the deck if you make the wrong move. It's like with Solitaire, playing it on your PC doesn't teach you how to play cards but if you keep going eventually you'll move the card to the right position.

I know I'm forgetting something here but for the life of me I can't remember what. Well I guess then that'll be all for me, I'll come back here if I remember.
