I'm a tales fan, having played Tales of the Abyss, Vesperia, and a bit of the original Symphonia, and I didn't really enjoy this game as much as I should have. The characters seemed to spout the same nonsense over and over, such as Emil saying "I'm sorry" over and over again(luckily that stopped eventually) and Marta proclaiming her love for Emil every 3 sentences. The monster system was a good edition, but I would have liked to be able to customize the original symphonia cast aswell..(you can't change their equipped items, nor do they level up).. I've completed the game and am reluctant to pick it up again.
