Casio EX-Z150 Digital Camera

Chris Hardwick gets his grubby little hands all over the Canon EX-Z150, the slimmest, sexiest little digital camera in Canon's product line.

What You Need to Know

  • It definitely has got a lot going for it
  • Firstly, this camera is really small
  • Only 0.79” thick, but still managed to fit in a 3” LCD screen onto the back
  • That only left a small amount of room for the menu controls, but it's worth it
  • The small size and big screen is really important with a camera like this
  • This camera is definitely a point and shoot and that's not necessarily a bad thing
  • It takes really good pictures
  • It's 8.1 megapixels and that's more than enough for parties or concerts
  • The camera has all the standard features like face recognition and image stabilization
  • It's got a four times optical zoom and a 28mm wide angle lens and that's definitely one of the most unique things about this camera
  • It's not a dramatic difference; it isn't a fish eye lens or anything
  • But you'll notice that some of your quick pictures will fit into frame a little bit easier
  • With a camera this size and at this price point it's a really nice addition
  • It's $200, which seems to be on par for a camera like this
  • It has the casual photographer in mind
  • They've made it very easy to use with a ton of pre-sets, for portraits or night scenes; there's even one for "eBay"
  • The camera also has a YouTube capture mode, which basically means you can shoot up to ten minutes of video at YouTube quality, for easy uploading
  • The camera comes in five colors

  • $200
