LG VU Phone

On today's Gadget Pr0n, we drool over the LG VU phone, and take a look at its lovely curves... Here is the review from today's Attack of the Show.

What You Need to Know

  • It's the best touch screen next to the iPhone
  • 3” wide screen
  • Very similar to the Voyager because of haptic feedback and menu structure
  • Full touch keyboard mimics the iPhone; the keys are really easy to press
  • You have to dive deep into the menus to get to what you want and scrolling is wonky because you accidentally select things
  • It's pretty stylish
  • It's only a .5” thick and about 0.4” thicker than the iPhone
  • Weighs a little less than the iPhone too
  • It can get a little smudgy with fingerprints
  • Three buttons on the bottom that answer calls
  • Screen lock button on the side
  • You have to pop out the battery and the SIM to reach the Micro-SD slot
  • Overall it's a slim, easy to use device
  • AT&T's mobile TV, Live TV on your phone although even with 3G it was a little slow
  • Full html web browser
  • No Wi-Fi
  • Sweet antenna
  • 2 megapixel camera doesn't have a flash, but its pictures have pretty good image quality

  • It’s $300 with a contract on AT&T
  • If this were $200 cheaper, it would be an excellent option, which very well might be the case when the new iPhone is announced
  • It's a nice phone, but the iPhone's features warrant the extra $100
