If you want a cell phone with soul that will make you superbad, you might want to pick up Samsung’s Soul. Of course, don’t just go out and buy it. Look at our review first and then make an informed decision. It’s the only sensible thing to do.
What You Need to Know
The first thing is the magical touch interface, or the touch pad below the screen. Next to the iPhone, Samsung has the best touch screens that we've seen, and this one is no different
The options change on the touch pad when you move through the menus, and the icons are always in the same place so you never have trouble hitting them
Now, if only they could make the entire screen like this
About a half an inch thick
The all metal body and easy grip slide give it a good feel
The keypad is flush but pretty easy to press and text
The 5 megapixel camera is awesome; has tons of options like image stabilization, face detection, a flash, and in-phone image and video editing, plus it has a small camera on the front for video conferencing
No Wi-Fi or GPS, but that might be to save the already exhausted battery life
This is one of Samsung's flagship phones, and it's not readily available in the states yet; we hope it comes soon, because then it might be affordable on a good network
If you want a nice phone with a really solid camera and a great interface that no one else has, this is an excellent choice
You can buy this phone without one, but it's $600
