Get your gadget fix three times a week, every Monday, Thursday and Friday right here on the AOTS site. Today's technological marvel is the Nikon D60 Camera. Here's what Attack of the Show's Chris Hardwick had to say about it.

Nikon D60 Camera

What You Need to Know

  • The 10.2 megapixel D-60 shoots at up to 3 frames per second, comes with an 18 to 55 millimeter vibration reduction lens, and has a built-in flash
  • Weighing in at just over a pound, it’s Nikon’S smallest DSLR ever
  • Not only did Nikon improve the already intuitive controls to eliminate extra button pushes, but the 2.5” auto rotating LCD really makes it easy to navigate the menus
  • This camera powers-up super-fast and it’s ready to go; you click that on and you’re done
  • It does feel pretty light an it fits perfectly in your right hand; it’s totally compact and easy to use and it focuses fast
  • You have the option of shooting at up to ISO 3200
  • Lighting schemes are all over the map, but overall it focuses very fast
  • The camera can only do so much; you have to anticipate the action
  • The 3-area autofocus means you almost never have to dump a picture because it’s blurry

  • If you want to make the jump from amateur to serious photographer, this camera, which retails for between $800 and $900, is the way to go
