The Loop: SXSW '08

South by Southwest (SXSW) is the coolest film, music and interactive festival anywhere. You can point to other mass gatherings like Cannes for films or Coachella for music, but no other festival manages to bring those elements together so well, allowing both mainstream and independent performers and creators to mingle and generate art in a paradoxical vacuum for nine days.

If The Muses were actual beings and not just mythological creatures, you’d find them there, partying right in between Ross Wilsey and Ice Cube and attending panels about interactive media.

To give a unique look at this amazing convocation of artists, we’ll welcome the Co-Founder of Cinematical and Editor for Spout, Karina Longworth and the Godfather of Nerdcore and the World's 579th Greatest Rapper, MC Frontalot.
