The Loop: Has YouTube Vigilantism Gone Too Far?

Who polices the police? Who has the power to make sure that the men and women in uniform don’t abuse theirs?

Anyone who has ever lived in fear of a corrupt police state has asked themselves these questions many times. Recently, one man, now known to the world at large as Jimmy Justice, came to the conclusion that he had the power to balance the scales of justice.

Jimmy filmed several New York area traffic cops violating the very laws they swore to protect and uploaded the videos to YouTube, thereby exposing the hypocrisy of some of New York’s finest.

Today, we’ll be joined by Jimmy Justice himself and web privacy advocate, Alan Chapelle. They’ll discuss law, justice and the right to privacy.
