Joy Giovanni was born and raised in Boston. She was a diligent student, completing high school in only three years. After her accelerated education, she decided to move to California, attracted to its beautiful weather and laid back lifestyle.

Once in California, she went to college, enjoyed the southern California sun, and developed a healthy lifestyle. She worked with personal trainers, trained in Kung Fu, competitive kickboxing and even golf.

Following college,  she immediately entered the workforce. It didn’t take long for her to realize a desk job was not fulfilling for her. After speaking to her personal trainer about this, he encouraged her to enter the L.A. Model Expo at Universal Studios Hollywood. She reluctantly agreed, showed up completely green and swept the competition. With top prize in hand, Joy knew she was hooked.

She immediately focused, enrolling in acting classes and facing the industry head-on. Since then, she has developed an impressive resume, with film credits like Girl Next Door, Instinct vs. Reason, 5 Days, Faces,  and Psychoanalysis. In addition, she has appeared on the hit television shows C.S.I., Monk, N.C.I.S. and Entourage.

Joy currently enjoys portraying one of the “divas” on UPN’s wildly popular WWE “Smackdown”, where she has developed a loyal fan base.  This year, her fans voted her winner of the Smackdown Rookie Diva 2005 Competition.  She continues learning and looks forward to continued success in entertainment
