This is the last straw for me. Why does the world seem to reward bad deeds? This guy who flipped out and slid down an airplane has enough offers already to retire as well as another job offer. It’s setting a bad example for kids as well as slapping me in my face. I refuse to make any further public statements anywhere online to contribute to a broken world. Then you have speculation over offers of a reality show, movie or interview over how the man feels. What about how I feel? When I got fired I left in a taxi in peace, it has been almost 3 years since then in November of 2007. Billions of dollars was made off of me, no job offers, no interviews, no interest whatsoever. There has been no one to come to my rescue “Not that I expected it” and yet this guy’s life is now potentially better than it ever was before just from sliding out of a F-ing plane? And the excuse is because he worked for over 20 years, so no one else has flipped out and what if others follow his lead? I’m so disgusted I feel like throwing up. . If any Black Security Guard after 20 years would have activated a Fire alarm system and then quit he/she would have gone to jail, it would be denounced on the news and that would be it.
