Halo
Halo was the game that launched the original Xbox in to console prominence. The shooter featured all sorts of awesome weapons, a phenomenal story, and one badass main character, Master Chief. Eventually the game went on to become one of the biggest gaming and merchandising titles in pop culture history.
Halo was an instant hit, with gamers flocking by the thousands to play it as soon as it was released. It's been the flagship title of many competitive gaming tournaments, and after a decade of prequels, sequels, and just about everything else, the series is still going strong.
