I know we Americans like to think we're better than our brothers and sisters in Europe, but today, The Old World Wins: The Nintendo 3DS is out over the sea, meaning that us yanks are just sitting around on our thumbs until Sunday, playing with our antique, two-dimensional handhelds. But it's not all tea and crumpets in England. There are reports coming in that Amazon has messed up people's 3DS pre-orders, and many gamers have taken to the internet to register their displeasure. Here's a thread of English belly-achers.

Gamers Heart Japan is a 60-min video special dedicated to sharing the videogame community's appreciation for the Japanese game industry and raise awareness for Red Cross relief efforts in the wake of Japan's catastrophic earthquake and tsunami.

Members of the video game community, including Ed Boon, Ken Levine and Tim Schafer, to name a few, will be sharing their thoughts on the contributions the Japanese video game industry has made in the special scheduled to run on April 3rd. Alongside many media allies, G4 and G4tv.com will be supporting this broadcast as well, with the special running on G4tv.com on April 3rd, and a special airing on April 4th on G4.

We'll be getting more details soon, but mark your calendars for this event now, and as always, you can go to American Red Cross to make a difference now!

X-Play's Adam Sessler spoke with Nintendo's JC Rodrigo about some of Nintendo's 3DS launch titles. One of the coolest features many games will have is StreetPass. With it, gamers will be able to share information and interact with other gamers. Consider this your last 3DS preview before the handheld console launches this Sunday.

Dead or Alive: Dimensions' box art has been altered for North American audiences. The ESRB felt that Kasumi's high kick showed off too much thigh. The thigh is commonly believed to be the most suggestive and offensive part of the body. Actually I just made that up. Tecmo Koei fixed the problem by making Kasumi's socks a little higher and her dress longer. Honestly, the change is so subtle, I wonder why the ESRB cared. Does the uncensored DoA: Dimensions box offend you?

Dead or Alive: Dimensions is a 3DS exclusive set to be released in NA on May 25.

If you're lucky enough to be holding a Nintendo 3DS right now, days before the official release date, you'll note that an update went live today that added something cool: A 3D video from internet-favorite indie-rock band OK Go.

The video, "White Knuckles," features the band interacting with a bunch of trained dogs in an insanely choreographed dance routine. It's very impressive, especially with the added dimension provided by the 3DS.

You can watch the 2D movie under the cut, or just wait until Sunday, when you'll be able to watch OK Go in glorious 3D, once you download and install the update.

Capcom's fighting series has made its way to the 3DS with Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition. The 3DS launch title is designed to help introduce the series to new gamers who might be playing a Street Fighter game for the first time. But will gamers who love the series already have trouble getting into the SSFIV 3D Edition?

Since the days of the Super Nintendo, the Pilotwings series has always been used by Nintendo to show off the graphics-power of its consoles. Pilotwings Resort for the Nintendo 3DS is no exception... but is it worth the purchase? Jake "believes a man can fly" Gaskill played the game, and said:

"Considering that Pilotwings Resort  is essentially a Wii Sports-ish compilation that serves as more of a packaged tech demo than an actual game, it’s a shame Nintendo didn’t bundle it with the 3DS. Because for what’s here, $40 is a little steep, especially if you just spent $250 for the 3DS. The game and the tech driving it are solid enough, but you’ve basically seen all it has to offer after about an hour. This wouldn’t be such a problem had the game come with the 3DS, but since you paid for it, you’ll undoubtedly start to wonder what else you could have bought with that money."

Rumors are swirling that Hudson has canceled several of their upcoming 3DS titles, Omega Five, Bonk and Bomberman. The publisher has been having an eventful year, first they were sold to Konami, and then their American branch was shut down. Famitsu magazine has removed Hudson's lineup from their list of upcoming games leading many to speculate these absent titles have been canceled. However, a Konami spokesperson has contacted Wired, assuring them this wasn't the case.

The Nintendo 3DS comes out this Sunday, and that means gamers will be wanting to trade in their old, busted Nintendo DS for a spiffed-out new system. But where can you get the best trade in deal? Read on, and we'll give you an idea of how to trade your old DS in for a Nintendo 3DS.

GameStop has a tremendous deal: According to the company's website, the retailer is offering $50 worth of trade-in value for a DS Lite, $75 for a DSi, and a heaping $100 for a DSi XL. So if you hand in a DSi XL, you're basically getting a 3DS for only $149. Gamestop is also offering $300, online-only bundles which include a 3DS case and a game (either Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition or Samurai Warriors Chronicles).

Feedback is heading back into the studio, and we're going to be talking Homefront, Crysis 2, the Nintendo 3DS, and "Whatever you desire." Which is a thinly veiled reference to L.A. Noire, courtesy L.A. Confidential. Dang, I'm really looking forward to that game. But we won't be talking about it this week. No! Less detecting, and more FPSing!

The cover athlete on the next Madden game, Madden NFL 12, will be chosen by fans. Beginning today and continuing through April 27, fans can participate in a bracket-style voting campaign on on ESPN's site. You'll choose among 32 candidates (one from every NFL team). Fans’ votes will determine which NFL players advance through the seeded bracket, culminating in the reveal of the Madden NFL 12 cover athlete on ESPN’s “SportsNation” on April 27.

“Whether it be from fans, media, agents, or even the players themselves, there’s never a shortage of opinions when it comes to the annual selection of the Madden NFL cover athlete,” said Anthony Stevenson, Senior Product Manager of EA Sports. “So this year we’re handing the keys over to the public."

PAX East was epic this year, and not just because the attendance  at 69,500 exceeded any previous PAX, but because we banged our way through tons of content, and topping the charts was the fact that Irrational Games' co-founder and creative director Ken Levine joined us on Feedback LIVE! to talk Bioshock Infinite, PAX, games, Dungeons & Dragons, and more. It is incredibly refreshing to know that a game developer of his caliber is a true geek at heart. One of us, if you will.

But that's not all! There's a couple of surprises in this video, and watch closely for a very special guest. It's nice to take the show on the road, and we're looking to book additional guests coming up in the future. Who do you want to see on an episode of Feedback? Let us know. The Nintendo 3DS will be released on March 27, only a few days from now. Nintendo was nice enough to send us a console early so we can make sure to provide you with all the 3DS content you crave. They also sent us ten women with Nintendo 3DS consoles tethered to their waists. We hope Nintendo lets us keep them!

GDC is now behind us, but PAX East looms large this coming weekend. If you aren't going to be in Boston braving the cold and seeking out new games and geekery galore, then you'll probably be bundled up warm and snug playing Dragon Age 2 or trying to catch all of the Pokemons in Pokemon Black or Pokemon White. Either way, one thing that will help make your week complete is a full and heaping serving of Feedback.

Nintendo is making it clear they do not support  playing pirated or non-region approved games on the 3DS. Japanese retailers have been warned, Nintendo will disable any 3DS console that has illegal games detected on it. The console would be bricked via firmware update. The 3Ds launched last week in Japan and the American release will take place at the end of the month. I'm sure we can expect to see a similar warning from Nintendo once it hits shelves on March 27.
