Darksiders 2 Art Director Han Randhawa joined the G4 stage for this gameplay demo at E3 2012 Live.

Darksiders 2 follows Death across an enormous world filled with more quests and items than the original Darksiders. Returning players will be happy to hear Death receives his horse immediately to compensate for the vast terrains he will be traveling. The fantasy action adventure lets players customize Death either for melee, spellcasting, or a combination of both, offering unique customization of gameplay.

The release date for Darksiders 2 is August 14, 2012. It will be released for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.

Scribblenauts Unlimited preview

Bone up on your vocabulary with our Scribblenauts Unlimited preview from E3 2012. Our affinity for putting these creative words together for you proves that spelling is one of our stronger suits and that past Scribblenauts games have taught us well. At the Warner Bros. booth, our Scribblenauts Unlimited demo involved the use of the new Wii U GamePad for the ultimate in "edutainment."

"One of the major new features is the ability to use the Wii U GamePad as a sort of object editor, in which you can access literally thousands of physical traits and components to create a custom object that you can then summon, at will, in the game. But 5th Cell has gone beyond simply allowing the creation of an object; they’re allowing creation of its behavior, by exposing a front-end, highly customizable scripting engine. You want the item to light aflame upon use, start to vibrate, and then explode violently? Done."

Resident Evil 6 E3 2012 Preview

In our Resident Evil 6 hands-on preview from E3 2012, Jake Gaskill details his experience playing as Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield. While it's fantastic to play as both characters in RE6, sometimes they got too close for comfort due to tight camera angles. Ammo, on the other hand, was always out of sight - a staple of the Resident Evil series that hasn't changed. What has been upgraded is the look of the creepy level designs, as Jake notes:

"The environments were the standout for this section, mostly because there wasn’t anything else to do besides look around at the dark wood balconies and banisters and ornate chandeliers kissed with moonlight swaying eerily overhead. Occasional lightning created the proper haunted house feel that early RE games did so well, and moving through a pitch black ransacked ballroom with nothing but a head-mounted flashlight definitely had me on the edge of my seat, at least for the first five minutes or so."

Load up on as much ammo and herb as your inventory will allow and read our Resident Evil 6 preview prior to the game's October 2 release date. Your survival may depend on it.

This Zumba Fitness Core preview with Sara Underwood from the E3 2012 floor show should get everyone in the mood to work it!  She teams up with Zumba trainer Gina Grant to show you how interactive this version of Zumba is using the motion technology of the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles.

Majesco Entertainment focuses on your core with this release which is what really separates this title from other Zumba games.  Don’t worry, it’s not all work, there is plenty of play, dancing and licensed music to keep your heart rate up.  You also have the option to select which different types of Zumba classes you want to take.  In a typical Zumba fitness class you can burn up to 1,000 calories but with Zumba Fitness Core, depending on how long you can keep the groove,  you can burn much more.

According to Sara Underwood the experience was “hard but fun” and although she was talking about the game that is indeed.. what she said.

Need For Speed Most Wanted Announced

EA and Criterion are working on a reimagining of Need for Speed Most Wanted. This time the game will have an open world for gamers to race through. The point of the game remains the same, become the most wanted, but this time, thanks to the game's openness, how you become the most wanted is your choice.

"The biggest draw of Most Wanted is certainly the new Open World structure, which allows a single player or several to roam around an open city, scoring “Speed Points” with tricks, jumps, and stunts. These speed points are used in ranking a player on a Most Wanted list, which, while ultimately ending up as nothing more than a social feature, is still an enjoyable way to compete."

South Park: The Stick of Truth

South Park: The Stick of Truth, Obsidian Entertainment’s over-the-top RPG, is the funniest, most offensive, and joyfully ridiculous game on display at E3 2012, at least that was our own Leah Jackson’s takeaway after seeing The Stick of Truth in action. Here’s a taste:

"As you continue to wander along through South Park, only Butters, the lamest kid of all, will play with you. Butters tells you that he'll take you to a powerful wizard's castle, which really turns out to be Cartman house. Once you arrive at Cartman's, the fatass shows you around his make-shift medieval military base, complete with sandbox stables, all the while referring to you as Douchebag."

For more details on what Obsidian and the South Park folks have cooking, check out Leah's full South Park: The Stick of Truth E3 2012 preview.

Director of Creative Development Rasmus Hojengaard shows off a new level that features some good ol' fashioned dam destruction. Players have multiple ways to complete the level, having the option to take the stealth route or the straight up killing everyone route.  There are also literally multiple routes through the level, as in multiple paths to follow.

Hojengaard also talks a little bit about the AI in Crysis 3, both about the physics and the actual intellegence level of the enemies you will face as you attempt to take down the Cell Corporation.

Crysis 3 will be available in February 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
