The story of Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47 as he investigates the mystery surrounding the death of his handler, so there are many emotional themes to it. Players will finally get a bit of an insight into the man behind the number, something they haven't been able to do much of in the previous games.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance previews from E3 introduce new game mechanics for the next installment of the Kingdom Hearts series. Square Enix Product Manager for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Raio Mitsuno explains these mechanics, includng flowmotion, which allows main characters Sora and Riku to interact with anything in their environment--they can ride rails, spin off poles, and kick off walls. Best of all, each mode of movement in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is linked to a special finisher.

The Rift: Storm Legion E3 2012 trailer has us eager to play Trion Worlds' first expansion for the popular MMO. With two brand new continents, this Rift expansion is more than double the size of the free-to-play standalone game.

What's more, the level cap is increased from 50 to 60, and the game throws 10 new levels your way. No need to wade through old quests just to reach the new Rift: Storm Legion level cap.

There's a little bit of insight into the Rift: Storm Legion story in this teaser trailer.  The real focus is on the MMORPG's moody graphics and the sheer size of Curcia's gathering forces the long-lost cradle of civilization.

PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale preview from E3 2012 has landed. Drop everything and look. Right now.

Sony's answer to Nintendo's classic Super Smash Bros. franchise will take all of your favorite PlayStation characters and pit them against each other in all-out...well...battle royale. In this preview, Superbot President Chan Park talks about not only the characters, but also the stage designs for PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale.

With twenty years of games to pull from, there's almost no limit to what Sony can do with this one. We'll have to wait until the end of this year to find out for sure.

The official E3 2012 Jet Set Radio trailer is here, and the newly-remastered Dreamcast classic has never looked better.

Jet Set Radio shredded its way onto the scene back in 2000, mesmerizing players with its cell-shaded graphics, awesome soundtrack and fast-paced gameplay. We got our first look at the HD version a few months ago, and it will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC later this summer.

Not everything from E3 is completely new, and that's just fine.

Injustice: Gods Among Us gameplay videos from E3 2012 introduces a DC Comics fighting game made by the creators of Mortal Kombat. Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon introduces two character types in Injustice: Gods Among Us: power types and gadget types. Power characters, like Superman, can pick up and smash cars, whereas gagdet characters, like Batman, may set those same objects on fire.

Could a new Prince of Persia game be in development? Folks over at gaming forum NeoGAF are speculating that Ubisoft may be developing the next Prince of Persia game, but others guess that it could be an unannounced Assassin's Creed Vita title, or maybe something else entirely...

Only three pictures were posted, the one above and two more which you can check out via the NeoGAF post. If it is a new PoP game, it'll be the first since 2010's The Forgotten Sands, and it looks like our hero will be wielding a bow and arrow this time around.

In this 2012 E3 interview, Hideo Kojima celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Metal Gear franchise by introducing the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Metal Gear Solid 3 will be released for the 3DS and, on June 12th, for PlayStation Vita. Revengeance will be released for the Xbox360 and PS3.

"With our 25th year anniversary," says Kojima, "I hope people will get the opportunity to rediscover the original Metal Gear, and get excited about upcoming events, including the release of Metal Gear Rising." 

Don't worry, Kojima, you've had us hooked from the start.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 was officially announced by Konami earlier in the week, and now the studio's announced some more details about the project. Konami's confirmed that the game's currently in development for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and that it expands the series with a new storyline, villains, and visuals.

"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 underscores Konami's commitment to bringing only AAA titles to the market," said Tomoyuki Tsuboi, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "The rich storyline, vibrant graphics and series surprises are unparalleled – making Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 one of the biggest titles to look out for next year."

Lords of Shadow 2 will wrap up the Lords of Shadow saga, and give players an all-new gameplay experience within the universe. The game will once again follow Dracula, but this time he's been weakened and it'll be up to you to help him reacquire his powers so that he can take on a powerful new threat.
