It may have been only a handful of weeks ago that we were all talking about the news coming out of E3 2012, but events on that scale require early planning and the Entertainment Software Association is already talking about the 2013 show. E3 will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center and surrounding locations next year, running from June 11-13, a morning press release confirms.
The ESA's current commitment to keeping the annual trade show in Los Angeles is good through 2015. Admission will once again be limited to industry professionals only in 2013. There had been questions as to the status of coming E3 gatherings, what with renovations planned for the LA Convention Center and the surrounding area, but the press release notes that the new agreement "also ensures E3 will continue as scheduled alongside [LA Kings co-owner] AEG's plans for downtown Los Angeles, including development of the new Farmer's Field [stadium to be linked with LACC]."
