Sackboy is styling with his new Uncharted 3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations costumes available for LittleBigPlanet 2. Ubisoft helped Sony create a new Ezio costume which will be available on 11/15 just in time for AC:R's release. But if you want to dress up the cute little guy now, Sony has also released a Nathan Drake costume.
if you're familiar at all with the Warhammer 40K universe, you should know about the forces of Chaos, who have been noticibly absent from Warhammer 40K: Space Marine...Until now that is. THQ announced in their investor call yesterday that the Chaos Space Marines will be hitting the game in DLC due out in December. The DLC, which has yet to get a solid date, will set you back 800MSPoints or $10 and includes a new Exterminus Mode, new co-op arenas, skins, boss rounds and enemy units.
Following the trend of rewarding gamers for their soda addiction, Battlefield 3 has teamed up with Dr. Pepper to offer gamers exclusive DLC. Specially marked bottles of Dr. Pepper will include a code for the content which includes multiplayer skins and "five creatively-crafted dog tags."
The dog tags pay homage to Hello Kitty, Three Wolf Moon, and Dinosaurs. I would be outraged another company is trying to lure me in to tooth decay in the name of in-game content, but oh em gee I want Hello Kitty and dinosaur dog tags. Now that I think about it, who is this for, besides me?
Next time can a game publisher team up with Crest or Colgate? Just a suggestion.

The Gears of War 3 DLC, Horde Command Pack, will be released on November 1, 2011. The first pack of DLC for Gears 3 will expand the experience for my favorite mode, Horde. It will add new fortification levels, commands posts, and three multiplayer maps. If that doesn't impress you, you'll also be getting three new characters, including my personal favorite, Bernie.
The three maps new to Gears 3 will be Blood Drive, Rustlung and Azura. Classic Gears maps already in Gears 3 have undergone major upgrades. Based on this I think it's safe to say maps like Blood Drive will look and feel different.
Keep reading for more details on the maps, characters and more.
Portal 2 is finally getting its free "Portal 2: Peer Review" DLC on October 4th. The Portal 2 DLC pack was originally planned for the summer, but hey, better late than never. The DLC will be released on all platforms: PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Mac next Tuesday.
Peer Review continues the story of co-op mode allowing gamers to resume their rolls as P-Body and Atlas. I personally identified with P-Body more. The DLC will also include a single player Challenge Mode and leaderboards.
Will this new DLC persuade you to play Portal 2 again?
Square Enix has announced that the upcoming Final Fantasy 13-2 will have both DLC and mini games, including Chocobo racing. According to FF13-2's producer Yoshinori Kitase, Square Enix is developing downloadable costumes, monsters, and weapons for players to enjoy. Kitase also confirmed that the sequel to Final Fantasy 13 will be non-linear this time around (yay!) and will feature several minigames including chocobo racing, a casino, and an area to host those elements.
Chocobo Racing was a game that originally came out on the PS1 console way back in 1999. It was kind of like Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing. There was also Chocobo racing in Final Fantasy 7 where you had to race against five other opponents on different tracks. I'm guessing that the 13-2 Chocobo racing will be more like the FF7 variety rather than the PS1 game.
Sony has announced that the inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood DLC will be biting our necks on October 25. The DLC release is landing just in time for Halloween, and will cost you $14.99 on the PlayStation Network. Festival of Blood will add Move Support to the game which will work with both the DLC and the original inFAMOUS 2.
If you're not familiar with the Festival of Blood DLC, it was originally announced during E3 2011. In it, you'll take control of inFAMOUS 2's hero Cole after he's been bitten by an evil vampire. It's up to you to kill the head of the vampire order to save yourself and your city from further infection.
Will you be picking up the Festival of Blood DLC, or are vampires just not your thing?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution's first pack of DLC is called The Missing Link. Gamers will get to continue the story of Adam Jensen in the form of additional missions this October.
The Missing Link fills in a gap that takes place towards the end of Deus Ex: HR. I'm told there were a few days that are unaccounted for somewhere in the plot and that's where these missions take place. I'm not being cryptic, I'm just not that far into the game myself so I don't know what I'd be spoiling. Confused? Good, so is Adam Jensen.
After completing The Missing Link, gamers will uncover even more of the game's mysteries. There will be "more details coming soon," according to the Square Enix official blog.

THQ thinks gamers are really going to like Saints Row 3, so much so that they're planning a huge gusher of DLC for the open-world crime and silliness simulator. At the Cloud Gaming USA conference, THQ CEO Brian Farrell said, "We totally change how we keep consumer engaged for a very long time... We intend to create an online digital ecosystem that keeps them interested for a year or more."
Farrell said that Saints Row 3 will be followed by around 40 weeks of DLC, but also pointed out that the box release of the game will not be sold as half-a-game at the start -- It's planned as a full game at a full-price, with DLC as added value. My question: Is this realistic?
Square Enix has announced some Dungeon Siege 3 DLC called "The Treasures of the Sun". The DLC will add hours of additional gameplay, introduce a new plot, enemies, and loot. The Treasures of the Sun takes place in a new environment called the Aranoi Desert and the level cap has been raised to 35. The devs have also included more abilities, spells, stat boosting enchantments for your armor.
The Treasures of the Sun is coming out in October for Steam, the PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live.
I have Dungeon Siege 3 but have been a bit backed up and haven't played it yet. Do you like this game, and are you going to shell out for this DLC?

If you didn't play Housemaque's 2010 PlayStation Network release Dead Nation then you missed out on something special. It's hardly the first twin-stick zombie shooter ever released, but it's a damn pretty one, and well-put-together too. Those who have been itching for more will get their way soon with the upcoming "Road of Devastation" DLC release.
This trailer for Battlefield 3 shows off the Physical Warfare DLC pack. The content pack comes with weapons like the Type 88 LMG, a flash suppressor, and the DAO-12 Shotgun. These are just some of the sweet perks you get from the Physical Warfare pack. If you want these items when the game is released then you'll need to pre-order BF3. If you can wait a while, the DLC pack will be released, for free, at the end of the year.
Call of Duty Elite promises to help gamers "play together better" for a price. Many of the features are in fact free out of the box when you buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, however, CoD Elite Premium will set you back $49.99.
Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer games have been working with the CoD Elite's team, Beachhead Studios, to make sure Elite enhances every aspect of multiplayer. Annual members who pony up $50, will get every piece of DLC through the year. That's 20 pieces of downloadable content in all. You also get the content first, before the public. DLC will be released monthly for Elite Premium members so you'll never stop playing, ever.

The PlayStation 3 version of the arena shooter Section 8: Prejudice is getting a new map pack called the "Frontier Colonies Map Pack" on September 13 for only $3.99. The Frontier Colonies Map Pack will come with two new multiplayer maps, "Desolation" and "Overseer."
According to TimeGate Studios, Desolation will be a desert map that is haunted by the remains of a failed colonization attempt. Overseer on the other hand is a lush forest map that's home to a military base. Both of the maps will be available in multiplayer in offline play for all of the modes included in Section 8: Prejudice.
