Loot Whore: Great Deals On Yesterday's Games

Now that Black Friday has ended, Cyber Monday descends upon us with even more savings on Xbox, PS3, Wii, PC, DS, and PSP games. Want to save more dough? Check out our highlights below, and remember to surf the web often because these will be popping up all day. If you missed picking up something from our Holiday Buyer's Guide on the cheap on Friday, then this is your second chance.

By 2020 will this just extend into one entire week of gluttonous shopping? As long as the deals manage to impress, I'm all for it. Especially with these Cyber-sales, where I can shop in my underwear and not have to wrestle with someone's grandma over a copy of Demon's Souls. And ugh, why are we using the word "cyber" in 2010? Put a bullet in it, already. Onwards for savings!

To that end, we're here to present five games that would be all the better with the subtitle, Black Ops

EA recently held a preview event for its upcoming slate of games and announced a slew of downloadable titles scheduled to rule your XBLA and PSN accounts well into 2011. Here's a quick look at our impressions of a handfulf of the games announced.

"MicroBot, however, was a visually impressive shooter that takes place inside the human body. In the tradition of Inner-Space, you play as a machine inserted into the bloodstream in order to fight a mysterious infection, traveling through the pathways, bone marrow, lungs, brain, etc...Along the way, you’ll find various collectibles to power-up your weapons and modify your MicroBot, configuring your ship in an endless variety of ways. But since each item is restricted by its range of movement, where you place these upgrades and how you construct your vessel is key to your survival against the onslaught of bacteria and paramecium."

Check out our look as EA Previews 2011's XBLA and PSN Line-Up...

Halo: Reach Tip of the Spear

For the fourth consecutive month, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 took the top spot in hardware sales, selling 484,000 units in September, an increase of 37 percent over the previous year, making it the best month for 360 sales so far in 2010.

Bungie’s Halo: Reach was, unsurprisingly, the best selling title in September with 3.3 million units sold, not counting those included in the various Reach/360 bundles. Reach is just the third 360 game to pass the 3 million mark in its launch month; the first was Halo 3, and the second was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Playstation Move vs Microsoft Kinect: The Future of Motion Control

Wave your hands frantically in the air if you’re excited for motion controls on HD consoles! In an effort to go toe-to-toe with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have decided to release their own version of immersive controls. For Sony, it’s the PlayStation Move: a decidedly Wii-esque controller and camera that tracks your movements one-to-one. Meanwhile on November 4th, Microsoft is set to unleash Kinect: a 3D camera that scans your body and follows your every move without the need for anything in your hands.

While we can’t say which one will reign supreme yet, we can use our virtual crystal ball (the Move works well as a substitute) to look into the future. Join us as we discuss some of the upcoming titles that make us excited for the possibilities that both systems have to offer. Bring your hands!
