I'm not sure why this video of Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan and Jimmy Hart playing Def Jam Rapstar exists.

I'm not sure why Hulkster flashes his ding-dong at the cameraman.

Help me to understand, the internet. What is happening here??

Rock Band 3 Squier Priced And Dated

The Rock Band 3-enabled Fender Squier guitar that we've heard about has been dated and priced. You'll be able to rock out with the device beginning on March 1, 2011, and it will set you back $279.00. Pre-orders begin on January 1.

Before you balk at the price, consider that the device is an actual, full-size, 22-fret, maple-necked Fender electric guitar that can play Rock Band 3's pro guitar mode as well as playing through an amp, and that price is comparable to a regular Fender electric that doesn't play a video game. In other words: This isn't a toy. It's a legit musical instrument you can use to control a toy. You can even plug it into both an amp and Rock Band 3.

Check out the official site for more details.

I'm saving up my dollars to pick up one of these babies. What about you? Are you planning to pick up a Squier when these hit the streets?

Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Lil' Jon Tracks Announced For Def Jam Rapstar

We'd forgive you for thinking that Def Jam Rapstar is some kind of cheap, cash-in with no value. Sight-unseen, a rap-karaoke game gives off that vibe. But you'd be very mistaken in your assessment. The game is great, and not only is it great, it's serious. The developers are supporting it, too. Today, 27 huge new tracks were announced from huge hip hop names like Black Eyed Peas, Eric B. & Rakim, Puff Daddy and the magnificent Souljah Boy, whose chart-topping track "Crank That" will finally be playable in video game form.

The DLC list is better than the on-disc selections for this game, if you ask me. The full list is under the cut.

John Lennon's Imagine Having spent a lot of time playing Rock Band 3, I honestly thought the musc game couldn't possibly be any more awesome, but I was wrong. We just received the announcement that the entirety of John Lennon's seminal Imagine album will be among the first full albums coming out as Rock Band 3 DLC.

So we've got Billy Joel, The Doors, Bon Jovi and John Lennon as early DLC for Rock Band 3. Okay, now I can't imagine (get it!?) how the game could be more awesome.

Silo 64

While Fallout fans are adventuring through New Vegas this weekend, some of them might be wondering why Bethesda didn’t release a soundtrack album for Inon Zur’s fantastic music from the game.  Perhaps we’ve thrown back too many bottles of Nuka-Cola Quantum, but it seems like it would have been a no-brainer to include an OST in the collector’s edition that many of us purchased (this writer included).  However, Tunnel Snakes and vault dwellers looking to satisfy their cravings for even more adventure through a post-apocalyptic wasteland can not only play a free homebrew game inspired by Fallout and created by chiptunes artist, 8 Bit Weapon, but enjoy its music as well.  The Feed has some sample sounds and a link to Silo 64, available by clicking below.  No secret vault access codes required!
