Road to E3 2010

We've been talking a lot about E3 lately, because we're totally gearing up for the big show. We've ordered several cases of champagne, at least a gross of deviled eggs and rubber gloves for all!  The news this week has included a ton of E3 rumors and speculation and general pre-show hype. This was one of those (relatively) quiet weeks in gaming. Sure, Skate 3 and Lost Planet 2 came out -- both solid games -- but this coming Tuesday, three complete must-have games will drop: Split/Second, Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake. Good luck deciding how to spend your allowance, buddy.

The biggest news of the week: Halo: Reach's multiplayer beta was released. The launch was a little rocky, with Bungie's servers getting slammed, but it cleared up. Hey you can even play it for charity! Here's our impressions.

The biggest news of the week: Halo developer Bungie announced it has signed a ten year publishing deal with Activision, just as Halo: Reach is set to go into its beta phase. Bungie is developing a new IP, and plans for a multiplatform release.

If you've been noticing a lot of info about the third dimension this week on our blog, it's because G4 and TheFeed attended the first ever 3D Gaming Summit here in Los Angeles, so we brought back speeches from 3D professionals like Paul W.S. Anderson and Jon Landau, as well as news of 3D gaming!

We also shot a bunch of web shows, which are, for the moment, two dimensional. But watch them, because they make those two dimension feel like seven!
