You may remember YouTuber Majami Hiroz for his nifty Commodore 64 "demake" of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's final mission. Hiroz is now back with another loving tribute to one of Rockstar Games' greatest, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012, in the form of a guitar-led cover of the game's memorable theme song (via Rockstar's Newswire).
I generally tune in pretty closely to a game's music, and the GTA: Vice City theme is one that has always stuck in my brain as a favorite. The guitar cover from Hiroz is a great way to start your day, especially as it plays against the sweet video he assembled. All of this is of course meant to get you in the mood for the mobile release of GTA: Vice City, due to hit iOS and Android platforms before the end of 2012.
It still feels unebelievably surreal to say the words "Disney bought Lucasfilm," but the news is true and now you can hear more on the changeover from the man himself, Goerge Lucas. The Star Wars creator sits down with new Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy to discuss the future of his former company, and fans ought to be interested to learn that there's more than just Star Wars 7-9 on the horizon.
"I always said I'm not going to do any more. And that's true. I'm not going to do any more. But that doesn't mean I'm unwilling to turn it over to Kathy to do more," Lucas said. "I have story treatments of 7, 8, and 9, and a bunch of other movies, and obviously we have hundreds of books and comics and everything you could possibly imagine, so I moved that treasure trove of stories and things to Kathy and I have complete confidence that she's going to take them and make great movies."
